Attention all drivers to Mira Loma, As you have most likely noticed by now, there is signage reminding you that the east parking lot that sits between Edison and Norris is the staff parking lot. The middle section of that lot is not to be used for student drop off at any time. Student drivers should not be parking in this lot at any time. If a senior student is in a CTE program and needs to leave campus following 4 th period, they should be parking in the lot between the E wing and the athletic fields. All other student drivers are to park in the lot off of Becerra Way. Parents dropping off student are encouraged to use the Becerra entrance to drop off students near the basketball and tennis courts, or on Edison in front of the soccer fields. The front circle is office personnel parking, and should not be used for student drop off. We have signs posted that during peak traffic times drivers exiting the lot to Edison or Norris make right turns only. Since the Becerra lot has a 4 way stop sign, you may exit to the right or to the left with ease. Please be sure to watch for pedestrians in every lot and remember that parking lot speed limit is 5 MPH. Thank you, Lynne Tracy Mira Loma Principal Welcome Parents to Back To School Night Wednesday, September 12th Wednesday, September 12th will be a minimum day to allow teachers to prepare for Back-to-School Night. 8/24/18-5p - Football - Mira Loma (Home) vs. Brookside Christian 8/25/18-8a - MLHS Cross Country - Oakmont Invitational 8/27/18-3:30p - Audition for the Fall Play - F5 8/30/18-5p - Football - Mira Loma (Home) vs. Center 9/1/18-8a - MLHS Cross Country - Sierra Invitational 9/3/18 - Labor Day - No School 9/5/18-6:30p - Senior Info Night 9/6/18-4p - Girls Golf - (home) vs. Casa Roble 9/6/18-11a - MLHS Club Rush In the Quad 9/6/18-4p - Girls Golf - (home) vs. Casa Roble 9/7/18-11a - MLHS Club Rush In the Quad 9/8/18-8a - ACT - SAT Combo Practice Test 9/11/18-4p - Girls Golf - (home) vs. Woodland 9/11/18-4p - Girls Tennis - (away) vs. Casa Roble 9/12/18-4p - Girls Volleyball - (away) vs. Casa Roble 9/12/18-6p - Back To School Night 9/13/18-4p - Girls Tennis - (home) vs. Woodland 9/14/18-5p - Football - Mira Loma (away) vs. Galt 9/15/18-8a - DLS Nike Invitational & Team BBQ https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0?ik=1f9686400a&view=pt&search=all&permthid=thread-f%3a1609625006302733065&simpl=msg-f%3a1609625006 2/10
