Proposed: Graham Vasileff Seconded: Mary Ann Santin All in favour Graham welcomed Neil Andary (Acting Headmaster) and James Hammond (our newly appointed Director of Rowing). Neil Andary wished to acknowledge the support of the RPSG to the rowing boys and the College (the boys do appreciate the hard work done by the parent group to support their rowing). He also acknowledged Graham & Lisa Vasileff for all their hard work. Thank you to Deb Wilson in her role as staff liaison. Thanks to Andrew Randell for the past 5 years and for his help in finding his replacement. Neil introduced James Hammond to the RPSG - he comes with great credentials and pedigree. James introduced himself and gave a brief description of his rowing history. He commenced rowing at high school (Shore in Sydney). After school he rowed for Drummoyne Rowing Club under Andrew Randell. In 2005 he began coaching and has coached Senior Boys at Redlands and more recently at Canberra Girls Grammar. He has recently completed his degree in Sports Science at the University of Canberra and has been working for ACT Rowing as an administrator/development officer. James shares Andrew s philosophy regarding rowing and the development of the individual. He has a strong belief in coaching development (a crew is only as good as their coach).
