3 Goal III: By 2022, the percentage of GCS Board Goal and Target graduating seniors who complete a rigorous career pathway will increase to 35 percent. 2016-17 Baseline: 27.9% 2017-18 Update: 27.6% Target: By 2021, 34 percent of graduating seniors will complete a rigorous career pathway.

6 Definitions Career Pathway Concentrator A Career Pathway Concentrator is a student who has earned four or more technical credits in a Career Cluster with at least one being a completer course from the cluster. Career Pathway Enrollment Any Grade 11 student who has completed or is expected to complete two CTE courses in a Career Cluster by the end of 11 th grade.
7 60% of 11 th grade students are enrolled in a career pathway. KPI Baseline Data Findings: 2017-18 Grade 11 Career Pathway Enrollment Black students are the most represented (69%) with an enrollment percentage that is 20 points higher than White students. Hispanic male students had higher enrollment rates (68%) than Hispanic female students (58%). Male & female rates among Black & White students were close.
