YEAR 5 & 6 RESIDENTIAL TRIP PGL Liddington, Mon 19 Wed 21 June 2017 A reminder that deposits for next year s residential trip need to be paid, and if you are paying in instalments your next payment is due by the end of October. Churchfields football team did the school proud at last week s tournament against a number of schools in our cluster. Well done to all players and thanks to Mrs Pugh for supporting the event. We are very grateful to all who came to the Atworth base last weekend to support the development of our outdoor learning areas and grounds. A number of key jobs were completed to tidy and enhance these areas just in time for the start of the build of our new outdoor classroom this week. I would like to thank Mrs Liddiard for organising this event. Parents/carers of children at our Monkton Farleigh base may have noticed that the pond area has recently been given a spruce up also. A huge thank you to Mrs Wooster s Brownie group who volunteered to undertake this work. It has made a significant difference to the area which can now be used as a quality learning space for our children. The amphitheatre has also taken shape. Staff will begin planning for its use in the new term with the aim of eventually putting on a production to make best use of this excellent resource. I do hope you have a restful half term week and we look forward to seeing children back at school on Monday 31 st October.
