Mission of Bella Vista Bella Vista High School, a collaborative learning community based on a foundation of excellence, will inspire each student to excel and positively impact society by empowering them to be dynamic thinkers, leaders, and creators in a complex world.
Bella Vista High School Population: 2,000 students High-performing academic programs and many excellent extra-curricular opportunities Unique programs: Marching Band, Glass Art, Japanese, and Engineering & Computer Science Pathways
Academics Advanced Placement courses in English, History, Psychology, Calculus, Spanish, French, Japanese, Biology, Physics, Economics, and Computer Science Honors courses in English, History, Chemistry, Biology, and Anatomy/Physio.
Bell Schedule Next year: School begins at 8:15 a.m. daily (7:15 zero per) School ends at 3:15 p.m. (2:11 zero per) Thursday dismissal earlier Students attend a 6 period day, the same classes all year.
Student Activities Student Government coordinates dances, community events like the Halloween Extravaganza, rallies and blood drives. Opportunities for involvement outside the classroom abound. Yearbook, cheer, drill, pep band, jazz band, marching band, AVID, choir, video production, drama productions, academic and athletic competitions.

Engineering Pathway Started Fall of 2016 four-year hands on, real world focused engineering and technology pathway Program. In the fall of 2018 the Comp Science Pathway was added.

Clubs Bella Vista has numerous student led clubs. Some examples are listed below: Special Interest Clubs: like Gamers, Ukulele, Comic Book, Robotics, BV Buddies Community Service Clubs: like Interact, Key, CSF Political/Religious Clubs: like Young Republicans, Mormon Message, and Young Life.
Athletics Fifty-Five Athletic teams! Soccer, football, water polo, field hockey, lacrosse, swimming, track, baseball, cross country, softball, volleyball, wrestling, golf, tennis, and basketball. Frequent league champions in several sports. Multiple, recent section championships!

Support Services Parent sponsored College and Career Center Close monitoring by school counselors for academics, post-secondary preparation, and social/emotional concerns In conjunction with the Rotary we have a schoolwide career day every two years Intervention courses for Freshmen and support systems for all student to promote success!

Next Steps for You If you do not reside in the BV attendance area, go to the district website to be sure you know the open enrollment timelines to apply.this year it is December th 3-January 18. Applications can be completed in person or online. We are unable to accommodate more than 2,000 students. The spots available are determined by grade level, after our resident numbers are finalized.
