October Newsletter The year is going fast! We are half way through the first weeks; fall sports are heading into tournaments and the music groups are preparing for concerts. Before you know it we will be busy with Dover-Phila. week activities. Building Update Progress! We are beginning to see the infrastructure of the new building. The largest structure is the auditorium. Annual Forms for 2018-2019 please fill these out as soon as possible Please be sure to submit emergency medical forms on the new online system. To access this, visit the Dover Schools website and click on Parent Resources and then Parent Portal. In that tab, click on Forms and then scroll to the bottom of the page for the Emergency Medical Authorization Form. Students will not be able to attend field trips if this is not completed. It is critical that this information is available to us in the event of an emergency. A kiosk is available at DHS if you need technology and/or assistance with this process. Annual Forms EARLY VOTING STARTS OCT 12! Early voting is getting ready to start, so mark your calendars to get out early and beat the long lines other voters will face on Election Day. Locations and times are available on the Tuscarawas County Board of Elections website at http://boe.co.tuscarawas.oh.us/absinfo.htm. Take a friend and make a day of it...you will be glad you did!

You may also find the form on the district website under "Parent Resources." 2018-2019 Student Accident Insurance Plan High School Health Screenings Week of October 1 We will be testing vision and hearing of freshmen and new students. Senior Big Picture October 5th Seniors will have their group picture taken in the gymnasium at 1:55 pm. Please remind your students to arrive on time for the picture. They are encouraged to wear their senior shirt or Dover apparel. Homecoming Dance Saturday, October 6 Gymnasium 7:00-10:00 pm Tickets are $10 each Student Council is sponsoring the fall homecoming dance in the high school gymnasium. Tickets may be purchased before school at 7:00 in Room 227, after school until 4:00 in Room 104, and during lunch in the concession stand. Inappropriate dancing is not permitted, and students will be asked to leave if they continue to dance inappropriately after a warning. We want to ensure that all students enjoy an evening of fun with their friends. *Out of school guest forms are required if a student brings a guest from another school.
