How the apprenticeship works Recruiting is done during the Junior or Senior year in High School First Year: ½ day High School, ½ day hands-on training at company Second through Fourth Year: 1 day/week at Community College, 4 days/week hands-on training at company Apprentices are paid for work hours as well as school hours Company pays tuition at Community College 2
What is Apprenticeship 2000? 6400 hours of learning hands on manufacturing skills 1600 hours of college education What do I get for completing the apprenticeship? Journeyman Certificate from the Department of Commerce Associates degree in Mechatronics from CPCC Dual Training - Academics in College / hands on at company Additional College for advanced degrees (company dependent) Guaranteed employment after graduation 3
