Preparing for College Planning to attend College? We highly recommend you continue taking math. AP Language and Expository Reading and Writing will prepare you for College writing. Students end up paying for remedial courses by not getting fully prepared at the HS level. Spring of Junior Year, take college entrance exams such as ACT and SAT. For current 10 th graders Colleges focus on your 10 th and 11 th grade years! Continue or consider taking rigorous classes!

Physical Education Physical Fitness Test (Pass 5 of 6 fitness areas) Students who do not pass the PFT must enroll in a P.E. course. Courses will be changed to accommodate P.E. San Pasqual High School Online Course Request Instructions for the 2017-2018 School Year Step 1: Activate StudentVue account (if you have not done so). Need help?? Visit the Counseling Office or the Library. Step 2: Go to your StudentVue account and select Course Request on left hand side of your screen. Step 3: On the Course Request Screen, select Click here to change Course Requests Step 4: Begin your course requests. Click arrow under Department to select subject (for example English) OR under Course Title type the course title (for example, English 10 ) OR under Course ID type Course number (for example, 2811 ) and click then Search Courses.
Step 5: Select the course from the list in the Department and click Request. Please read messages!!! Step 6: Select Click here to move selected requests to selected course request. The course will appear under [Selected Course Requests]. Repeat Steps 4 through 6 until you have 6 courses (7 courses if you will be in Marching Band). Step 7: Choose four Alternates. For each Alternate course, repeat Step 4. Instead of clicking on Request click Alternate. Then proceed to Step 6. Step 8: Your work will automatically save as you complete your course selections. To finalize course requests click Lock in Courses. IMPORTANT: Do not lock courses until you have consulted with your parents and are done making changes. Clicking lock in courses prevents you from making changes.

No computer access? Go the library before or after school, and at lunch!
