George Warth, S.J., served as Regent of Loyola's School of Medicine from 1936 to 1942. The "Plan of Organization of Loyola University School of Medicine," Article 1, Section 2B, described the duties and powers of the Regent as follows: The Regent of the Medical School is the representative of the President of the University at the Medical School. All financial matters connected with the medical school require his approval. All arrangements involving the use of the medical school buildings or equipment are subject to his approval. Scope and Content The records of Regent George Warth, S.J., consist of 4.0 linear feet spanning the years 1936 to 1942 and are composed of correspondence, minutes, and reports.
