Also this week, we will have our 1 st annual High School Parent/Student Night beginning at 6pm Tuesday evening. The meeting is specifically for students in grades 9-11. Before students are asked to make their course selections for next year, we want everyone to be aware of the tremendous opportunities available. We hope that the information shared at this meeting will be helpful as you plan for the rest of high school and beyond. Encourage your student. We have only 3 weeks left in the grading period. The last week will be busy with projects, exam preparation and exams. Please remember that no family vacations will be approved during the last 2 weeks of a semester. Chromebook Damage We have seen an increase in chromebook damage each year which is somewhat to be expected as our students are using them more and more. However, we need to make sure that we are doing everything that we can to help keep them working in the best working order. One of our biggest issues is broken screens from things being placed in the case with the chromebook such as ear buds or writing utensils. Remember that regardless of the situation, each child is responsible for their chromebook. If it is damaged the technology department will fix it at the cost of parts. We do not make money off of the chromebooks. Please encourage your students to take care of their chromebooks.

Textbook Parents, At this time all outstanding textbook rental is now past due. Please check your child's account on Skyward even if you paid in full at the beginning of the school year. If your child has had a schedule change, this can affect their total due. Also, all Athletic Transportation fees for Winter sports have previously been added. The Spring sports will be added when teams are established and rosters are received in my office. This once-per-year $15 fee must be paid by all athletes to help support athletic transportation costs. Parents of Seniors, all outstanding debts must be paid in full in order for your child to participate in graduation activities. If you are unable to pay in full by the end of December, contact me as soon as possible to request a Payment Agreement form. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thank you, Tammy Goodwin, ECA Treasurer
