The children all enjoyed it and were great sports. They displayed great teamwork and manners! Netball We played Discovery School in a friendly match and won. Today your child/children will be bringing home a white paper bag. We would be grateful if over the half term break the children could take a few moments to decorate this bag in a Christmas theme and fill it to the value of 2. Items could include a drink, sweets (wrapped only), a small toy, packet of crisps etc. Due to some children having allergies in the school, please can we ask that nothing you put in contains nuts. Cross Country This event was at Manor Park, 13 children took part from KS1 and KS2. Unfortunately, the weather was awful and the grass was very slippery, however, each child tried their hardest and we were lucky enough to win 3 gold medals, 1 silver medal and three medals for children who were placed in the top six of their race. This was out of approximately 40 children in most races. Each child showed determination and great teamwork, cheering each other on and continuing to show the pride each pupil has in their school. Mrs Wardle was extremely proud of each and everyone of the children and would like to thank those parents supporting... in such dreadful weather.
