Notes from Mrs Hulonce Hi everyone, It s fantastic to finally be here at last and see the amazing school that is Bundarra PS. I am super impressed with everything about our school, students, staff, supportive parents, learning opportunities, extra curricula programs and facilities. Our students have helped my family and I feel very welcome. Thanks to all the new friends Amelia has made- she feels supported and happy to be here. The Bundarra staff team is also fabulous- a positive bunch of professionals who genuinely care for our students and their families. Learning how the staff work together is great fun and makes me feel beyond lucky to be here. Thanks to the parents who have introduced themselves over the past few days- I look forward to meeting more of you as we work together. Saving the most special appreciation- a huge THANK YOU to Mr Stannard for all of his efforts in leading Bundarra so successfully. We wish you all the best for a safe and happy break and return to Bundarra PS. This week has been a busy one for our students- with excursions for all grades to Budj Jim. The feedback from these trips was positive and staff commented that many of our students were excellent representatives of our school. Students enjoyed the tour/ activities and learnt lots which was followed up in classrooms through literacy activities. Thanks to staff for organizing and supervising these activities to enrich student learning. Specialist Timetable There has been a minor change to our specialist timetable for term 3. The Middle & Senior school are now doing Music and the Junior School is doing Indonesian. Sporting Schools Program The Sporting Schools Afterschool Care Program will begin in week 4 of this term on Monday 1 st August and Tuesday 2 nd August. This terms activities are Football (Monday) with Mr Bunney and Netball (Tuesday) with Mr Grinstead. There is no cost for this program and it starts from 3:15 pm 4:30pm (including an afternoon snack). If you would like to be involved in the program, please ring the office to confirm your participation for this term. We have allowed for 20 students each night, so first in best dressed! End Of Semester Reports We have sent home any uncollected reports this week. If you missed you missed your Parent teacher Interview at the end of last term and would like a chat with the teacher please arrange a suitable time with your child s teacher. Cold Weather Jumpers Can we please make sure your children are prepared for colder weather when at school. I m quite distressed at the number of students who are still coming to school without school jumpers. Students may still be asked to play outside if the weather is cold and windy, as it is only through extreme weather that students play inside.
Thank you On behalf of class 3/4G, we would like to say a huge thank-you to Mrs Lane and Sweetwater Aquatics for donating some fish and a fish tank for us to display in our classroom. The kids are all super excited to have a class pet. We really appreciate your generosity.

Thank you to Crystal Sherwood for organising for Bundarra to visit the Thookay-ta Keerna-ke koorie Playgroup Centre, it was FANTASTIC! Also a big thank you to the Parents and Grandparents that came with us. On the 18 th July our class went to the Koorie play group. We heard a story and drew some pictures about it. Then we went on a tour of the play group and we made snakes, it was fun. Written by Reef On Monday the 18 th of July I went to the Health Centre. Aunty Christine read a story to 12L. I made a frog named Tidalick. Zane and I played in the sand play. I made a rainbow snake. It was cool because I got to make a snake. Written by Aidan School Jumpers Do you have any spare school jumpers at home? We would welcome any clean and good quality donations to the office.
