Friday: Rosenthal, Carrigan, Rider ***Recess duty runs from 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.*** I pray this newsletter finds you well and ready for a full winter weekend. As we move into the weekend we welcome the start of Catholic Schools Week on Sunday, January 27th. The students from St. Thomas Aquinas Parish School will be speaking at the Masses at St. Thomas Aquinas this year and we will welcome Lansing Catholic Students at St. John Church and Student Center. As we join together in celebration of Catholic Schools Week on Monday, we welcome you to join us for the many activities we have planned for the week ahead. Please know on Monday we welcome our students to wear community spirit gear (STA, MSU, LCHS, East Lansing, etc.) with modest or loose casual bottoms. Please note that students may not wear yoga pants or pants that are tight fitting without a shirt, dress, or tunic that is at least fingertip/midthigh length. Additionally if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to the office for clarification on dress code or length of clothing. As you plan for the week ahead, I have included our Catholic Schools Week agenda which can be found by clicking on the image above. On the agenda you will find our activities for the day, as well as the dress code for students each day. If you have any questions about the service projects, activities, or dress code again, please do not hesitate to reach out for clarification. I am hopeful that as we close Catholic Schools Week that you will consider joining us for adoration and the Divine Mercy Chaplet on Friday, February 1st beginning at 2 p.m. in the main sanctuary at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. The week ahead will hold many wonderful memories for our students and I thank you in advance for your support. We look forward to sharing in the joy of Catholic Schools during this exciting week of celebration! CSW VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! As we prepare to celebrate our students on Wednesday and our staff and faculty on Thursday, we are in need of several more parent volunteers to help with lunch and recess duty these days. On Wednesday, Mrs. Robin Celeski is seeking parents who can

assist before, during, and after our student appreciation lunch to ensure our students have fun and are safe during this exciting time. Additionally our students will receive an additional 10 minutes of recess on Thursday, January 31st so our staff members can enjoy an extended lunch period. We are in need a two to three more parents who will assist us with recess so our teachers and staff can comfortably enjoy their time, knowing that their students are safe and secure. If you are able to help on either Wednesday or Thursday, please reach out to Mrs. Krusky or Mrs. Wilcox so we can plan according. We thank you in advance for your time and helping us to celebrate our students and staff during the week ahead!
