WPTO Direct Donation Information Dear Wampatuck Families: With the school year now well underway, the Wampatuck PTO wanted to take a moment to highlight a few of the exciting programs and classroom support we have lined up for 2014-2015 thanks to PTO dollars. Donation of 24 Hewlett Packard laptops and a roaming charging station for student and teacher use. Introduction of a new world language before-and-after-school program offering classes in Spanish, French and Chines for K-6 Hands-on science curriculum programs for each grade level Social Studies enrichment including Bay Colony Educators and Geography Game Show Grade-level classroom supplies Playground enhancements Docent art, garden and nutrition program support The 2014-2015 PTO Budget is approximately $27,000. For reference, if each family donated $70 per child through a direct donation to the PTO it would eliminate the need for any further fundraising. We realize economic times are challenging and welcome any and all contributions to support PTO efforts this year. If you are considering making a direct donation this year, we kindly encourage families to submit contributions by December 1, 2014 to help the PTO plan for remaining 2014-2015 school activities. Checks can be made payable to Wampatuck PTO and returned in the enclosed envelope to your child s classroom or the school office. Since the Wampatuck PTO is a 501c3 non-profit, all donations are tax-deductible. In addition we are eligible for matching gift programs. If you are able to donate, please check with your employer to see if they offer this incentive. Many thanks for your support! Family Name: Donation Amount: 7
