Fraser Health Healthier Communities Fraser Health Healthier Communities initiative is organizing a youth engagement event on March 6 th at the George Mackie Library. Youth engagement is a core principle of youth development. Through youth engagement young people are actively involved in shaping their development by interacting with the people and opportunities made available within their environments/communities. Youth get many opportunities to be involved at school and this is their opportunity to contribute to the betterment of our community and society as a whole. Youth (12-19) living in Delta are invited to participate in this fun-filled event. The event will start with some pizza and drumming circle, followed by a presentation on resilience and a lively discussion on "What resilience means to youth, and how do youth stay resilient in challenging times?" Pizza and gift card for every youth that attends. To sign up: www.eventbrite.com/e/zoom-in-youth-engagement-workshop-tickets-42802974850
