6 Co-Scholastic Areas IX & X 2018-19: (a) Health and Physical Education (HPE): From the academic year 2018-19, the CBSE has introduced Health and Physical Education (HPE) and made it compulsory for all students of IX & X in place of the existing subjects - Work Education (500) and Health & Physical Education (506). The subject will be assessed for 100 marks. Every student should participate in HPE and assessment will be mandatory to be eligible to appear in Board Exams of class X & XII. (All evidences and Portfolios of the work/project under SEWA (Social Empowerment through Work Education and Action) shall be preserved by the school as they can be monitored by CBSE at any time. A detailed circular is being given to all the students of Class IX & X on the subject in June.
