We are quickly approaching Spring Break and the end of the 3rd quarter. Grades will be out soon, and when we get back from break, we will be in high gear preparing for AzMerit and Graduation (make sure you take a look at the school calendar)! It s the most busiest time of the year for our scholars here at Desert View!! PLEASE make sure that your daughter/son comes to school daily and is asking for help if they need it. The last quarter is always the time of year that goes the quickest. Let us know if you need anything from us as a school to support you or your teenager! There will be added stress with the end of the school year coming, and many students trying to catch up or maintain those awesome GPA s, that we want to make sure that your son/daughter has some mental support as well. As always, our counselors are willing to lend a compassionate ear and my office is always open. Please make sure your teenager is seeking help should they need to de-stress. :) I want to thank you for entrusting us with educating your child and for choosing Desert View! We are proud of our Jaguars and proud to be a part of this wonderful community! Best Regards, RoseMary Rosas Proud Principal, DVHS

One of the programs we have here at Desert View is Youth On Their Own (YOTO). It is a non-profit program that offers homeless youth or youth who do not live with their parent(s) financial support for attending school and making A s, B s and C s. The program is designed to help students stay in school and graduate. We currently serve approximately 37 students. They can also request clothing, food, help with school fees, bicycles, laptops, etc. It is a fabulous program and we are lucky to have their support for our students.
