Guest Speaker We will be welcoming Professor David Wilson to Aldworth after half term to talk to some of our Year 10 and 11 Science students. David works in the Institute for Developmental Sciences, University of Southampton and investigates early human development prior to birth. He has a particular interest in the molecular genetic and cellular events that occur during embryonic development in pregnancy. Have a lovely weekend. Mr McCabe We are delighted that parents are able to attend sporting fixtures after school to support their child. We would, however, like to re-emphasise our expectations for all supporters to conduct themselves appropriately, not only to our own players but to those of visiting teams and their teachers. I am sure you will agree that we would always wish to set a good example to our young people. Mr McCabe CHARITY CLUB Charity Club will be supporting the Guide Dogs for the Blind charity by holding a number of events in the school hall during first and second breaks on Thursday 18 and Friday 19 October. There will be lots on, from a book and DVD sale to blindfolded competitions. Any donations of books and DVDs would be greatly received and should be sent to Mr Lewis in room B1.4. Mr Lewis
