Ten Cadets participated in a National Integration Camp held at Tezpur Army Public School on 4th Jan 2016. Rashmi Rekha Hazarika successfully completed the All India Tat Sainik Camp at Delhi on sept 2016. She got a Silver medal on map reading event in the camp. Pallabi Borgohain and Anita Tanti attended the National integration Camp at Karnataka Medicari on Oct 2016 Bilal Akthar attended the prestigious Indian Military Attachment Camp at Dehradun from 21st june to 1st july 2016 Junmoni Saikia was selected for National games at New Delhi from 4th to 28th Oct 2016 Av group students were escorted by the NSS Volunteers to Mulai Kathoni for interaction Padmashree Yadav payeng on 24th Feb 2016. A special NSS camp was organized by the NSS volunteers J.B.College at Rampur Tea Estate from 28th March to 1st April 2016. A Blood donation Programme in collaboration with Zoology in the college campus where 67 units blood donated to blood bank Lion's Club organized at J.B.College on 14th Sept 2016 A mock drill cum training on disaster management was conducted by NDRF, Civil defense & state Fire service Department with NSS on 1st Oct 2016. 17. IQAC decided for re accreditation by NAAC SSR has to be uploaded in the college website On 8th Feb 2017 (i)it is decided that in March 2017 the process for inviting NAAC has to be completed. NAAC report making committee will be finalized (ii) Construction work library and humanity block to be expedited. (iii) Strengthening students in sports participatrion (iv) Alumni Association Should be initiated to be more active. 22. Activities Student Counseling and Guidance Cell JBCCC organized a workshop on dress painting and ornaments designing from 28th Mar to 2nd Apr 2016 in collaboration with Pidilite. JBCCC organized a Cartoon Competition among the students JB Colllege in collaboration with ONGC on the occasion Vigilance awareness week 4th Nov 2016. Also, organized a parent orientation programme on 18th Dec 2016. 23. Extension Acivities during the period: A Talk programme was organized by JBCWC on 30th Sept 2016 on the topic TROLOKESHWARI DEVI BARUANI & HER WORKS, which was delivered Dr.Sanjeev kr. Nath GU. A two day National Seminar on the topic CHANGING ROLE OF INDIAN WOMEN IN THE CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY : ISSUES & PERSPECTIVE organized on 15th & 16th Sept 2016 by JBCWC. International Women's Day was celebrated by JBCWC in collaboration with ACTA women cell in 2017. 24.
