Stanhope Primary School Learning Success Respect Citizenship ISSUE 27: SEPTEMBER 14th 2017 Inspiring Lifelong Learning From the Principal From the Principal Division Athletics Championships Congratulations to those students who made it through to the Division Athletics Championships to be held at the Shepparton Athletics Track, on Monday 16 October. Further details are included in this newsletter. Families will need to make their own transport arrangements for their students to attend. This is not a school excursion. Car pooling may be an option for families. Preparing for Term 4 Next term s curriculum focus is based around celebration of culture, which flows on from our studies of countries around the globe, that we covered, this term. Term 4 brings the grade 5-6 camp in week 3. Arrangements are being finalised for grade 3-4 students to have a day outing during this time. In first week of term 4, there will be the opportunity for families to come and chat to their child s teacher about their progress and next steps to success. Included in this newsletter is a form for you to complete with your preferred time. Teachers will aim to accommodate everyone with their requests, but there are no guarantees! And remember, you can arrange mutually convenient times to talk to your child s teacher throughout the year.
