Dear All EDITORIAL Welcome to the December 2017 issue of. Management as it is very often said is the newest of the sciences but the oldest of the arts however human endeavor is involved, management is present because the major objective of management is to achieve results. The month of December was embraced with ED Cell activities, Guest lectures, Industrial visits, NSS activities like Anti Corruption Day Walk and more. It is really heartwarming to put together these expositions. We feel glad to acknowledge to kind support and encouragement of all those who contributed directly or indirectly to bring Newsletter out. Finally we wish to encourage more contributions to ensure a continued success of the newsletter. College, Moosarambagh, presented papers in the 2 nd International Conference on Recent Innovations in Engineering & Technology, organized by ASTRA at Hotel Marriot, Hyderabad on 21 st & 22 nd December 2017. 2

INDUSTRIAL VISIT The students of MBA I semester students of Aurora s PG College Moosarambagh visited HBL Industries, Hyderabad on 8 th December, 2017. Around 56 students visited the company along with Faculty Coordinator, Mr. Nagarjuna. 3

ED CELL NEWS ED CELL BOARD Mr. Bruhan Shariff, CEO MBA II Year Ms. Sahithi, CEO(Women) MBA II Year Mr. Sairam, Vice President MBA I Year CMA CAREER AWARENESS PROGRAM The institute of Cost Accountants of India came to Aurora s P.G. College, Moosarambagh for a career awareness program for students on 11 December, 2017. The Guests were Dr. Chandra Shekar Rajanala (Chairman ICAI), Mr. Raghavendra Reddy (Co-founder of Dakshsh Ebiz Consulting), Mr. Srinivas Prasad (Advisor ERP, NMDC Ltd.) The program enlighten the students about various courses and subjects offered by CMA. The CMA provides detailed knowledge about Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting and complete Manufacturing process in the Industry. The guests told the students about the importance of CMA course, how it helps the economy at local, national and global level. The session was very interactive and students came up with their views and queries to the guests which were answered in the best possible way. 4

GUEST LECTURE A Guest Lecture was conducted on Entrepreneurship Development by Mr. G. Venkata Ramana on 12 December, 2017. Mr. G. Venkata Ramana holds 33 years of experience in Automobile Industry, Insurance & IT. He is presently working as Consultant for various Insurance and It firms in business and training. The Guest lecture made the students to understand the know-how of how of various aspects of entrepreneurship development. APT PRO TRAINING SERVICES INDUCTION Mr. Suhas Sadrula an expert of APT PRO Training Services visited Aurora P G College on 1 st December, 2017, for providing information about their institution and all the services which they offer that provide the students about knowledge of the current market The APT PRO Training services is an Ed Tech start up established with the motive to bridge the gap between the existing and the expected student s community and the Corporate world. The program was attented by both MBA & MCA students. 5

NSS ACTIVITIES YOUTH FOR ANTI CORRUPTION PROGRAMME The NSS Club of the college conducted Youth For Anti Corruption Programme on 8 th December, 2017. Mr. Palnati Rajender, Convenor for the Youth for Anti Corruption Campaign, addressed the students regarding the role of youth in fighting against corruption in the country. Mr. G. N. Satish Kumar, HOD (MBA). Ms. Arpitha, HOD (MCA), Mr. Badra Rao, Convenor, NSS club, Aurora PG College also addressed the students. A Debate competition was conducted for students and the winners were Pratyusha, Suvartha Rani, Samatha of MCA III Year. ANTI CORRUPTION DAY WALK The students of Aurora P.G. College participated in the Anti- Corruption Day walk on 9 th December, 2017, at People s Plaza, Necklace Road, Hyderabad, an initiative by Adabh Hyderabad for fight against Anti Corruption. 6
