From the Principal Each day during Lent, we began our journey with prayer and scripture readings for the day. Through prayer and reflection, we learned about Lent s purpose leading us all to the Triduum. That purpose became more focused this past weekend as we celebrated Palm Sunday of the Lord s Passion and entered into Holy Week. Lent ends prior to the Mass of the Lord s Supper on Holy Thursday evening. The Triduum is considered the holiest days of the year. The Triduum begins with the evening Mass of the Lord s Supper and continues through Good Friday and Holy Saturday, culminating with the Easter Virgil, and concludes with Evening Prayer on Easter Sunday. As Disciples of Christ, let us all take advantage of the last days of Lent to bring us even closer to Jesus. I hope that you all enjoy the Easter break with family and friends. May your Easter season be blessed and filled with the renewed faith in the resurrection and the risen life we receive in baptism. Ms. Susan Harris, M.Ed.
