HOME LEARNING BOX It s great to see families adding to our HOME LEARNING EXPERIENCES display in the front office. The Close family have displayed some great information about their budgie, Billy. Please take the time to come in to the office and look at their display. We would love to display some of the activities that your families engage in at home. It is so interesting and fun learning about what other families do outside of school and may even give us some ideas for after school, weekend and school holiday fun. We aim to have one display per week. Please start thinking of some possibilities of what you could display. Some examples include instructions on cooking a particular meal, a display about a camping trip or time away, gardening work or information on family heritage. We could even run a film of your experience on the screen in the office! Please take the time to think of some ideas and check out the displays in the coming weeks. Thank you, PARENTS CLUB NEWS Icy Poles: Icy poles will be on sale each Friday lunch time until the end of Term 4. Icy poles are 50 cents each. Donations of Zooper Dooper icy poles, or a similar brand, would be greatly appreciated. Lunch Orders: Every second Friday, the Parent's Club will be selling Steamed Dim Sims, Hot Dogs, Party Pies and Party Sausage Rolls at lunch time. Orders will need to be placed in advance and must be prepaid at the time of placing the order. The next date for lunch orders is Friday 12th Dec. Second Hand Items: The Parents Club will be having a market stall at the Bush Market in December and we are requesting any second hand items to sell to raise funds for Sun shade sails. If you have any unwanted items, please donate them. We are also requesting any donations of second hand uniforms to be put towards a second hand uniform sale. This will be held every Friday lunchtime in the Conference room. Christmas raffle: We will be holding a Christmas Raffle again this year and are asking all families to donate goods to our hamper over the next few weeks. Wendy Cahill Parents Club President
