East Point School Explore Experience Excel Newsletter August 2018
East Point School Juniors celebrated 72 nd Independence Day to show their passion and support to all freedom fighters of India. The programme was compeered by Class V students. Class IV students spilled patriotism through a heart throbbing song Tara Rum Pump.
ETHOS Inter School art competition was held on 21 August 2018 wherein the students from various school participated. Our student Avishi Jain of class IV A won the first prize.
East Point School Juniors are eager in maintaining the green surroundings. Our Green Brigade of Class 4 and 5 encouraged students to create fresh breath corner in their classrooms. This activity taught them an important value of life of regularly taking care of plants in their neighbourhood.
EXHIBITION
Science Week Library Visit: The objective was to utilize the library for research work in scientific field. Science Week Library Visit: BMI: Body Mass Index activity was conducted to teaching the students benefits to healthy diet.
The class 4 and 5 students had great exposure to study about Germany. They learnt about the landscape of forests, rivers, mountain ranges and North Sea beaches.
HANGING BIRD BREEDER: I CARE: COME LITTLE BIRD Environmentalists are concerned about destruction of bird habitat around the globe. A small step to protect their habitat was taken by class 4 students through the Hanging bird breeder activity. This activity was conducted to inculcate the love for birds around us.
ENGLISH ACTIVITY OF THE MONTH SPEAKING TREE This activity was conducted to exhibit the writing skills of Junior East Point school (Class 4). Children showed high degree of fluency in writing styles with wide vocabulary.
English Activity The speaking skill activity was conducted on 23 rd and 24 th August to hone the fluency of class 5 students. Several situations were given to the students and they used toy phones to communicate it to their friends/ relatives ( also played by another student).

Election Activity : Class 5 (August Month) September month's monitor was elected by voting activity conducted on 23 rd and 28 th August. The students wishing to become monitors prepared and delivered a speech, then the whole class voted for the candidates. And the monitors were elected.
ACHIEVEMENTS Abhishri Kaushik has been consistently bringing laurels to the school. She has recently won gold trophy in 500 mtrs Inline race for girls under age 8 to 10 years category. The race of conducted under SPORTS GALA CHAMPIONSHIP, Jasola, on 6 th August 2019.
4 th BSME FREEDOM SPROTS GALA tournament was conducted by Bharat Management group. Rishika Nandi stood first in Badminton tournament under 10 year group An athletics event was held Common Wealth Games village on 15 th August 2018. Rishika Nandi stood third in the 100 meters race. A badminton tournament was organized by Khel Academy, Indrapuram on 11 August, 2018. Rishika Nandi stood in first position.
