Monday Lego Club Create a pre-designed model or release your inner builder and make something completely unique. Junior Film Club Junior Drama with Miss Clark Maximum number: 20 Play drama games, build performance skills and have fun taking on the role of different characters. We will have fun performing our own mini plays. Cost: 6.10 per session or no charge with ASCAPS History Detectives with Sue Cole and A fun exploration of historical evidence, with activities like mock trials for Richard III, explorations into how Sir Winston Churchill carried out his work during the War, re-enactments of historical battles and many other fun aspects of looking into our history. Cost: 98 per term (12 weeks) or 25 with ASCAPS. Badminton witb Mrs Bridgstock Maximum number: 12 This fun and exciting racket sport for ALL will help develop your hand eye coordination and introduce you to a variety of new strokes, techniques, and fun tactical and competitive games. A great game for all levels of player. Cost: 109 per term (12 weeks) or 36 per term with ASCAPS. Netball Club Senior Art Hockey with Mr Martin All levels welcome. Practise and learn new skills and play games. Senior Drama Production Y7 & Y8 with Mrs Beedell, Mrs Howe and Mr Tan For children involved in the Christmas production ONLY After half term this will finish at 18:15 not 17:45 Cost: No charge. This hobby will finish on Monday 5 December with the Production taking place on Tuesday 6 and Thursday 8 December.

Tuesday Card Making Workshop with Mrs Howe Birthdays, Christmas, Mothers and Fathers Day or just simply to say THANK YOU! I m sure you can think of a million different reasons to send someone a card and it s so much more special if it s been hand made by the sender. If you love colour, glitter and all things crafty please come and join our card making workshop a relaxed and fun way to spend a Monday after school. This hobby will not run on Tuesday 18 October, 22 November and 29 November due to Parents Evening. Junior Supported Prep with Mrs Hearn and Mrs Codman An enjoyable Junior Prep session in which Mrs Hearn and Mrs Codman will be on hand to assist Year 3 and 4 pupils with their prep. Where possible school resources will be used to support the children's learning. This hobby will not run on Tuesday 18 October, 22 November and 29 November due to Parents Evening. Table Tennis with Mr George Luong and Maximum number: 12 Learn correct technique, the tactics and practise playing against opponents, George and even the ball machine. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. Cost: 91 per term (10 weeks) or 30 with ASCAPS. This hobby will finish on Tuesday 29 November as we have the Christmas Production on 6 December and Winning House Supper on the 13 December. Cheerleading with Norfolk Cheer Athletics and Minimum number: 10 Maximum number: 15 All-star cheerleading combines stunting, gymnastics, jumps and dance. It helps build self-esteem and promotes self-discipline, team work and commitment. This hobby welcomes boys and girls, places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. Cost: 111 per term (11 weeks) or 44 with ASCAPS. This hobby will not run on Tuesday 6 December due to Instructor availability. Football with Langley Football Academy and Minimum number: 12 Maximum number: 18 Learn to play the Norwich City way through skills and techniques that the first team players demonstrate on the pitch at Carrow Road. Cost: 74 per term (12 weeks) or no charge with ASCAPS.

Senior Cookery Hobby with Mrs Ketteringham Minimum number: 10 From cakes and biscuits to savoury treats and opportunities to work from recipes and learn new culinary skills to impress family and friends. Cost: 100 per term (11 weeks) or 33 with ASCAPS. This hobby will not run on Tuesday 6 December due to the Christmas Production. Senior Cricket Nets Cost: 110 per term (12 weeks) or 36 with ASCAPS. Y6 to Y8 Wednesday Film Club Cost: 6.10 per session or no charge with ASCAPS. Part of the School day included in the termly fee. Y3 to Y8

Junior Tapestry Club This hobby will not run on 20 October due to the Junior Theatre Trip Junior ipad Exploration Club This hobby will not run on 20 October due to the Junior Theatre Trip Junior Golf with Wensum Valley Hotel Golf & Country Club This hobby will finish at 17:00 and parental pick up will be from Wensum Valley Hotel Golf and Country Club. Cost: 100 per term (10 weeks) This hobby will not run on 20 October due to the Junior Theatre Trip Tennis with Langley Tennis Academy ** and Maximum number: 12 From novice to professional the tennis coaching team will help develop your child s tennis skills, serving and match play. Cost: 55 per term (9 weeks) or no charge with ASCAPS. 61 per term (10 weeks) or no charge with ASCAPS. Cost: 61 per term (10 weeks) or no charge with ASCAPS. SOFA (Speaking Out For Animals) with Sue Cole and An opportunity for pupils to think about and explore a range of animal issues. Cost: 80 per term (9 weeks) or 25 with ASCAPS. 86 per term (10 weeks) or 25 with ASCAPS. This hobby will not run for Y3&4 on 20 October due to the Junior Theatre Trip.

Rock Band Hobby with Mr Hamilton ** ONLY Maximum number: 6 Rock Band Hobby is for competent musicians willing to learn a piece of music in their own time. Numbers may be limited and priority will be given to those who learn an instrument at school. Please note this hobby will only be available to this term. Chess Hobby with Mr Willis ** A fun game that is played throughout the world. It is a game that develops good strategic thinking and forward planning, both necessary skills that can help in later life. Science Club with Mr Wilkinson ** Minimum number: 5 Maximum number:15 To look at science in a different way, trying out fun activities that will test and extend your knowledge. You will work in small groups to investigate how and why things happen in the world around you. Cost: 91 per term (10 weeks) or 30 with ASCAPS Card Games with Mrs Hambidge ** Play old favourites or learn new, from games of high skill to games of high chance. Year 8 CE & Scholarship Maths with Mr Wood ** Y8 only This hobby is for Year 8 pupils only. Further enquiries to Mr Wood please. The hobbies marked with a double asterisk (**) will finish on 1 December due to the Christmas Production taking place on 8 December and the Christmas Carol Service on 15 December. Friday Fun Swim Session and This will be an activity for any children wanting to have fun in the pool. Cost: 68 per term (11 weeks) or no charge with ASCAPS.

Prep School Hobbies Autumn Term 2016 Please indicate which hobby you would like your child to participate in by ticking the appropriate box on the booking form. Costs quoted in the brochure are based on a 15:40/16:40 finish and are shown with and without ASCAPS (After School Care Advance Payment Scheme). Hobbies will commence on Monday 12 September and finish on Thursday 15 December 2016 with exceptions where stated. For termly hobbies your child will be expected to commit to the hobby for the whole term. If your child does not attend a hobby for any reason NO refund will be given in respect of any missed sessions. Please be advised that hobbies will only run if there are sufficient numbers.
