Hours of Operation Monday-Friday Open at 3:00 pm Leaving Times Ages 6 & 7 6:30 pm 8 & 11 7:00 pm 12 & Up 8:00 pm April 23-26 Tuesday: Club Field Day (5:00-6:00pm) Join in on the fun as we break up into teams and compete in a field day style event. Cheer on your friends and try your best as all members will compete in popular field day games! Everyone will receive a sweet treat at the end! The Club may close periodically for special events. CLUB CLOSED April 15-19 th IVBGC Closed April 22 nd No School SASD May 21 st No School SASD (Open for VolunTEEN participants only) May 23 rd IVBGC Closed May 27 th No School SASD Wednesday: What the Club Means to Me Wednesday (5:00-6:00pm) Club members will have the chance to share what the Boys & Girls Club means in their life by sharing their thoughts on a video, as well as helping to create a large paper mural that will be displayed in the Club. All participants will receive a piece of candy as a thank you for their participation! Thursday: International Day (5:15-6:30pm) Each of our six homework rooms will transform into a different country. All members will receive a passport that they can get stamped as they visit different classrooms. In each room, members will have the opportunity to sample a food dish from the native country, or participate in an activity that is common in that country! We hope you join us as we celebrate our world and the wonderful differences each culture has! Friday: Ice Cream Social Dance Party (4:30-5:30pm)- We ll all scream for ice cream as we conclude our celebration of Boys & Girls Club Week with ice cream sundaes for all members and an all-club dance party! Our Mission Statement To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.

Summer Camp Preview Day When: Friday, March 15 th Time: Doors open at 7:30am; Camp Day runs 9:00 am-3:00 pm Who: 6-13 year olds Cost: $20, pre-registration recommended Special Events Are you excited about summer camp? Do you miss camp? Do you want to give camp at IVBGC a try? Come out for our first ever Summer Camp Preview Day when school is closed! We ll run through a day of camp, complete with pancakes for breakfast and lunch together in the gym. Try your hand at Arts & Crafts and play in the gym with your old and new friends alike. Staff will be on hand to answer all of your questions about summer camp at the Club and help you sign up for an amazing summer in 2019! Non-members are invited to join us with a parent signed guest permission slip. Permission slips can be found at www.npvclub.org or by picking one up at the front desk at the Boys & Girls Club. Girl Scout Night When: Friday, March 29 th Time: 6:30-8:30pm Who: All registered Girl Scouts Cost: $5 All Girl Scouts are invited to the Club for our 4 th Annual Girl Scout night! Come earn a badge, make new friends and enjoy playing in the Club! We ll also sing some favorite Girl Scout songs and end the night with a giant friendship squeeze! All Girl Scouts will receive a 2019 IVBGC Girl Scout Night patch! Spring Fashion Show When: Friday, May 10 th Time: 6:00 pm Who: All members Our members will strut their stuff and show off the latest fashions at the annual IVBGC Club Glam Fashion Show! Our members will be modeling their favorite outfits in front of friends, family, and the Club. All participants must attend the required rehearsal sessions prior to the Fashion Show. Participants are open to both boys and girls. A fashion show permission slip must be signed by a parent or legal guardian before participation is allowed in the event. Permission slips will be handed out at the first rehearsal and are due back before May 2 nd. Rehearsals will be the following dates from 5:30-6:00 pm: Tuesday, April 30 th, Thursday, May 2 nd, & Tuesday, May 7 th. All participants MUST attend at least one practice and the mandatory dress rehearsal on Wednesday, May 8 th from 5:00-6:00 pm.

Special Events Tween Night When: Friday, May 17 th Time: 7:00-9:00 pm Who: 4 th, 5 th, and 6 th graders Cost: $5 Get your friends and get ready to rock! We ll dance the night away to the most popular songs! Weather permitting, the dance will be held in the skate park. The gyms will also be opened for organized games and activities. The night will include snacks, games, and of course, dancing! Invite your friends! Non-members are invited to join us with a parent signed guest permission slip. Permission slips can be found at www.npvclub.org or by picking one up at the front desk at the Boys & Girls Club. VolunTEEN Day When: Tuesday, May 21 st Time: 12:00 4:00 pm Who: All Middle School and High School Students Roll up your sleeves and get ready to give back by spending the day having fun and doing community service projects at the Club! Projects might include painting a mural, planting flowers, organizing gym equipment, helping us prepare for summer camp, and more! Earn community service hours for your school clubs and organizations! Please eat lunch before you arrive. Light snacks will be provided. Pre-register by emailing Miss Tammy at tbendler@npvclub.org by May 17 th so we can help plan and prepare for the day s projects. This event is open to all students and everyone must complete a volunteer waiver to participate. Non-members will require a parent signed guest permission slip. 3 rd Annual Muddy Fun Run When: Saturday, June 8 th Time: Race begins at 11:00 am Check in begins at 10:00 am Cost: $15 per participant. Registration deadline to receive a t-shirt is May 31 st. Let s get messy and muddy! Join the IVBGC staff for a messy and muddy race around the Club! All guests are welcome to complete the 1 mile course. Crawl over, under, and through obstacles designed to get you mucky and messy! Each participant registered before the deadline will receive an event t-shirt. Guests may run the course up to THREE times to get thoroughly muddy! Every participant must sign a waiver for this race! Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present at the race. Waivers can be found online at www.npvclub.org or on our Facebook. Waivers will also be available at both the North Penn Valley and Indian Valley Boys & Girls Clubs.

Weekly Programs Creative Tots When: Mondays, starting March 25 th -June 3 rd (No program April 15 th, April 22 nd and May 27 th ) Time: 6:00-7:00 pm Who: 4 & 5 year olds (4 &5 year olds receive a FREE limited access membership) Calling all creative tots! Join us for a fun 8 week program where you can explore your artistic side! Each week will include fun projects such as painting, cooking, and more! This program is designed with our youngest members in mind! Get ready to get dirty, creative, and have fun! Torch Club When: Mondays, starting March 25 th -June 3 rd (No program April 15 th, April 22 nd and May 27 th ) Time: 6:00-7:00pm Who: 9-11 year olds Want to spend time building friendships, having fun and being an important part of the Club? Join Torch Club! This program, for members 9-11 years old, will give you a sense of belonging, a sense of community, and will teach you leadership skills. Each week Torch Club members will hang out, play games, and plan fun projects. Shutterbugs Photography Club When: Tuesdays, starting April 2 nd June 4 th (No program April 16 th or May 21 st ) Time: 6:00 7:00pm Who: 9-13 year olds Take time to stop and look at the world through a camera s lens! In this program members will learn the basics of photography. This includes defining aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. Each week the group will focus on different styles of photography including landscape, macro, and portrait photography. At the end, we ll celebrate the member s artistic success with a Club gallery debut of each member s artwork! The Ultimate Journey When: Wednesdays, starting April 3 rd -May 29 th (No program April 17 th ) Time: 6:00-7:00pm Who: 9-12 year olds Join us on the Ultimate Journey! In a partnership with the National Park Service, Boys & Girls Clubs of America has created this hands-on STEM program that will get the kids outdoors to learn environmental science! We ll head outside, learn about nature and our community, and have fun!

Weekly Programs Key Club When: Wednesdays, starting April 3 rd -May 29 th (No program April 17 th ) Time: 4:30-5:30pm Who: Ages 12 & up Calling all leaders! Now is the time to join Key Club as we embark on our final session of the school year! We still have 8 weeks left of fun field trips, rewarding service projects, and educational experiences. If you have not yet joined our Key Club what are you waiting for? Sign up today and come with us as we explore how to become great leaders in our community and beyond! Space is the Place When: Wednesdays, starting April 3 rd -May 29 th (No program April 17 th ) Time: 6:00-7:00pm Who: 6-9 year olds Get ready to explore the universe! In this program, members will spend time each week learning about space! From the moon and planets, to asteroids and beyond, each week will be filled with games, crafts, experiments, and activities to entice every budding space explorer! Creative Cooks When: Thursdays, starting April 4 th June 6 th (No program April 18 th or May 23 rd ) Time: 6:00-7:00pm Who: 9-12 year olds Cost: $10 Join us for an interactive journey of culinary skills in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. We will learn the fundamental techniques of baking and cooking, all while enjoying the culinary process. Each week will feature new and exciting foods to try! Junior Staff When: Thursdays, starting April 4 th June 6 th (No program April 18 th or May 23 rd ) Time: 4:00-5:00pm Who: Ages 13 & up Come and learn the skills needed to be a staff member at IVBGC! Members of the Junior Staff program will spend an hour each week working on leadership skills, as well as learning how to lead groups of children in games and activities. Junior Staff members will learn conflict management and team building skills throughout these 8 weeks. Each Junior Staff member must commit to assisting with one weekly program. In addition to this, Junior Staff will be asked to volunteer in either homework room for one hour per week, or assist with floor/gym activities for one hour per week. Each Junior Staff member will receive an official IVBGC Junior Staff ID badge!

Athletics & Fitness Floor Hockey It s time to grab that hockey stick and come to the Club! During this program participants will learn the basics of the game while having fun with friends. If signups permit, players will be assigned a team that will play on a rotating schedule. Games will be held either 6:00-6:45 pm or 6:45-7:00 pm based on the schedule. If signups are not sufficient for teams, pickup style games will be played each week. A game schedule will be handed out on the first night and players will be informed of their assigned team via a phone call and e-mail before the first game. A late fee of $10 will be applied to the hockey registration fee if your child is registered after March 26 th. Pads are permitted, but not required. Skates are not permitted in this program. Participants must wear sneakers. Sticks will be provided or you may bring your own! All participants that register before the deadline will receive a free t-shirt! PeeWee When: Tuesdays, starting April 2 nd June 4 th (No program April 16 th or May 21 st ) Time: 6:00 6:45 pm (If a rotating game schedule is played, games will be 6:00-6:45 and 6:45-7:30) Who: 6-8 year olds Cost: $20 league fee plus a 2019 Club membership fee of $20 for any non-current members Junior When: Thursdays, starting April 4 th June 6 th (No program April 18 th or May 23 rd ) Time: 6:00 6:45 pm (If a rotating game schedule is played, games will be 6:00-6:45 and 6:45-7:30) Who: 9-12 year olds Cost: $20 league fee plus a 2019 Club membership fee of $20 for any non-current members

Summer Day Camp Get ready for another great summer at the Indian Valley Boys & Girls Club! We ve taken all of the best parts about our summer camp and made them even better! Each week this summer has a fun theme filled with new games, activities, and programs! Exciting all camp activities EVERY WEEK such as cruise ship party, laser tag tournament and all camp country fair! New field trips to an indoor water park, DaVinci Science Center, and high ropes adventure course! Special guests Pizza Lunch Thursday for $1 per slice New age groups for campers (6&7, 8&9, 10&11, 12&13) New early morning activities Summer Brain Gain Program- exciting weekly themed reading loss prevention activities held daily! Fun themed days, choices and bonus activities and more! At our summer camp, your child will be sure to have a rewarding and fun filled summer. Our camp is professionally run and provides quality care in a supportive environment. Your child will pick and choose from a variety of structured recreational and educational activities each day. Camp will feature: Arts and Crafts and gym activities in our two gyms as well as our field out back Games Room Challenges Weekly fun dress up days Pancake Tuesday Ice Cream Stand Fridays Pool trips Staff Challenges Camp Scavenger Hunt and Camp Air Band Competition All Camp parties such as Country Fair, Olympic Day, Camp Glow Party, Camp Campfire, Camp Carnival and more! Campers will have the opportunity to take exciting field trips to different destinations throughout the summer. All trips are an additional fee and may have age restrictions. Can t make a whole week, or only need a half week? This year, our camp will once again offer two and three day weeks at a lower cost to better serve your family needs! Registration for this year s summer camp begins Monday, March 4 th! Registration remains open until all spots are full. In order to register, a minimum deposit of first week s session must be paid on the day of registration, as well as $20.00 for a current 2019 membership, if needed. All balances must be paid by Friday, June 7 th, 2019. Our camp is open to children ages 6 to 13. Campers may be dropped off at 7:30 am but no later than 9:00 am. Campers arriving after 9:00 am will not be allowed to attend that day. All campers MUST be picked up by 6:30 pm. Each session is $110 per week for a full week, $75 for three days, and $50 for two days Camp fee includes one t-shirt per camper per summer. Registration must be done in person All camp registration fees are nonrefundable. Field trip signups will be on the Monday of the week they are held. Field trips have limited spaces, age restrictions, and are on a first come, first serve basis. Cash or check ONLY

Each session is $110 per week for a full week, $75 for three days, and $50 for two days Counselors in Training may attend from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm Ages 14-18 CANDIDATES MUST APPLY: Applicants will be reviewed by the Camp Director and interviews will be conducted. Applicants are not guaranteed a position. Counselor in Training paperwork is available to pick up at the Indian Valley Boys & Girls Club.
