Schedule changes will be considered starting next week 1/14/18. All AP fees are due on Friday, January 25th! School will be closed on Monday, January 21, 2019 MLK Day I want to thank you for supporting your students here at Desert View. We are looking forward to an exciting second semester. This semester goes by very quickly, please remind our students that they need to come to school daily, ask questions if they need help, and stay on their assignments and homework so that they are not trying to catch up at the end. I have told students during the announcements to keep up the good work from 1st semester, and that if they did not do their very best 1st semester, that they are lucky enough to have the opportunity to renew themselves this semester and be the best students they can possibly be. Please contact us if you need any support with your child! We believe in them and will provide all opportunities available for their SUCCESS! Respectfully, RoseMary Rosas Proud Principal, DVHS 520-545-5101

P lease remind your students that they need to be on time to class. We average a higher number of tardies for 1st period more than any other period. If your student is late by 10 minutes every day, by the end of the year they will have missed 30 hours of instruction. In one class, that is an entire month of learning. Student success depends on skills like promptness and presence.
