ACADEMICS AP EXAM INFORMATION SDUHSD Piloting New AP Exam registration program SDUHSD is honored to have been selected by College Board to pilot a new AP Exam Registration program. This program includes instructional programs for the AP Course, as well as new tools for those students who choose to take the optional AP Exam corresponding to the course they are enrolled in. AP Exams will be administered in May, 2019. Students who choose to take the AP Exam will need to carefully review the procedures as well as the new OCTOBER deadlines. Visit http://sduhsdapexams.com for more information. Registration for AP Exams closes October 15. Late registration runs October 15-October 25. PSAT EXAM INFORMATION: Our PSAT will be taking place at La Costa Canyon on October 13th. The last day to register for the PSAT is September 12th. You can register at the Finance Office or online at https://webstores.activenetwork.com/school-software/lcc_webstore/ LCC Tutoring Schedule: Math - After school on Tuesdays in the 500 quad. Science - After school on designated Wednesdays. ARTS Theatre - Mark your calendars for Friday, September 21st, which will be the night of this year s first Teachers vs. Students Comedy Sportz event. There will be laughter. There will be tears...well, tears caused by laughter, of course. 7:00pm. Theater.

ATHLETICS 2018-2019 Athletics Calendar : The LCC athletics calendar is available via Google Calendar. Football Games: Per the North County Conference, there is a charge for all home football (Freshmen, JV and Varsity) games. The back gate off Calle Acervo is open for SEASON PASS HOLDERS only on JV/Varsity Games all others need to purchase a ticket at the ticket offices located in front of the gym. Frosh Ticket Prices : Adult $4 Student/ Senior $3 Reminder that the Calle Acervo gate is closed for freshmen game entry JV/ Varsity Ticket Prices : Adult $8 Student/Senior $5 FALL ATHLETIC PE CREDIT forms are available now and are due 9/14. In order to qualify, the student-athlete must have passed the PE State testing the prior school year. Forms need to be filled out and turned into COUNSELOR ATHLETIC PE CONTRACT SENIORS Maverick Senior Parents: Four year college application time is right around the corner. On Thursday, September 13 th at 6:30 pm in the Theater, LCC Counselors will host a college application presentation. We will focus specifically on the four year college application process, and will include: reviewing important application due dates for the CSU/UC systems, out-of state and private schools, how to access online applications, the process for requesting letters of recommendation, reviewing general scholarship information, accessing and utilizing LCC Counseling Department application resources, as well as reviewing tips and strategies in supporting seniors during this exciting year. STUDY BUDDIES Do you need community service hours? Come tutor an elementary school student for one hour a week for 7 weeks. Join your peers and participate in the STUDY BUDDY program.
