How to see your counselor v Students may drop in to see us before school, at nutrition, lunch or after school. v Sign in on our clipboard if we are unavailable. v Schedule an appointment with the secretary. v If you have an emergency and your counselor is not available, tell the secretary, and she will find a counselor to see you.
CHHS Counseling Policies q CHHS does not honor requests for specific teachers or teacher changes. q Counselors do not make period changes. q The only appropriate request for a schedule change is due to a level change.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION All freshmen will be placed into PE 9 regardless of whether they participate in athletics
Health/ World Geography All freshman take one semester of Health and one semester of World Geography, unless they are in an academy or AVID. Those students will make up Health at a later time.
Foreign Language Due to limited availability only students taking English 9H will be likely to receive a language, however this is not guaranteed. Spanish and French fill up first. Generally there is greater availability in Japanese and Mandarin for all 9 th graders who request it. If you are a selecting a foreign language, circle your choices in order of preference.
Elective Options You will have 1 elective spot in your schedule. Number potential choices by preference 1, 2, 3 from visual performing art and/or the general elective columns.
