Our ambitious and supportive ethos has led to outstanding success rates in terms of students securing their individual chosen pathway this includes progress to employment and apprenticeships; a significant number of our students regularly secure places at Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities. Similarly, we enjoy a very high success rate in terms of applicants gaining places in the highly competitive fields of medicine, dentistry and veterinary science. Our aspirations for you are exceptionally high and we will do everything we can to support you in your studies. Our students become ambitious, capable and creative members of society able to extend their learning beyond school and into their future careers and lives. Our lessons engage every student in their learning and provide scope to ensure everyone is challenged; learning is sometimes difficult, and as such we emphasise the importance of knowledge and resilience in equal measure. As you move into higher education and employment, what you learn and practise outside the classroom becomes even more important. We equip you with the skills necessary to learn independently. In particular, we pride ourselves on our feedback processes which, while recognising your strengths, will also help you take your learning forward. The most important element of our teaching is the relationships we build with you, our students. Based on trust and mutual respect, we create a safe, happy, and supportive environment within which you can learn successfully. Choosing to continue your studies into sixth form is a hugely important decision. Our philosophy, passion and commitment to developing you as a knowledgeable, aspirational and resilient learner will provide the very best foundation for the future steps in your learning journey.
