We are very fortunate at Pinewood PS to have such a dedicated team of staff who volunteer their services to provide such a wonderful experience and fun-filled memory for the Year 2 students. PARENTS CLUB A huge thank you to our Parents Club and the many parent helpers who assisted during Footy Day, for providing the opportunity for all of our students to participate in a sausage sizzle lunch. The students really enjoyed it! TERM 4 A strength of our school is our dedicated staff. With teaching teams engaged collaboratively in Planning Days last week there is a rich curriculum planned for next term. We have a variety of incursions, excursions and camps arranged to enrich student learning. We will look forward to very full term, with Prep Parent Information Night, Year 4/6 Camps, Swimming Program, Transition Program, School Community Music Night, Graduation, Division Athletics and much more on the agenda, our students will have plenty on their plate! HOLIDAY WORKS We are looking forward to a number of buildings and ground projects over the holidays. The Rotunda at the front of the school will receive a facelift with new lattice work, and a coat of paint being applied to really lift the entrance to the school. We are also having a new fence and gate installed at the entrance to the school from the laneway, which will continue to ensure clear visibility for students and parents, but will also lift this area. REMINDER- School Dismissal at 2.30pm tomorrow As tomorrow, Friday 21st September, is the last day of term, student dismissal will be at 2.30pm. A whole school assembly will be held at 9.30 am on Friday morning. School recommences at 9.00 am on Monday 8th October. Enjoy the holidays, rest up and get ready for a big finish to the school year.
