Welcome to St. Joseph s School of Religion Program The Religious Education program of St. Joseph is based on the belief that the formal aspects of the parish program are not meant to be a substitute, but rather a support and enhancement of the life of faith formation being lived in the home environment. Our Religious Education Program is offered to the children of parishioners to help them fulfill their obligation to teach their children the truths of our Catholic faith. Parishioners include all those who live within the parish boundaries and those who demonstrate their membership by their participation in the ministries of the parish and by their financial support. Enrollment/ Registration Enrollment for children entering the first grade in September 2019 who have siblings in the program, begins in March 25, 2019. For all others, first grade registration begins June 3, 2019. For children transferring from another parish, a transcript from that program is necessary. To register a child, you must be a registered parishioner and provide us with your child's original baptismal certificate (we will make a copy of the original). Registration takes place once, you do not need to re-register your child each year. Your child will be automatically placed on the same day for the following year as long as all work has been completed and the account up to date. Attendance: Each grade/level is considered a pre-requisite for the next grade/level. Students must successfully complete each grade/level before moving to the next. In order for successful completion of each grade level regular, weekly attendance is expected of each student. Tuition: $150.00 for one child $250.00 for two children $300.00 for three children $ 75.00 Confirmation Fee (Grade 8 Only) Tuition is due on or before September 15, 2018. Please mail payment to the Religious Education office. Be sure to include the tear off from your bill. Discounts are applied for those who volunteer for our program. Payment plans are available upon request. All volunteers must attend VIRTUS training and have a background check done.
