Diploma Tracks at Plainfield High School All students will graduate with one or more of these State of Indiana diplomas: Core 40 All students in the class of 2021 will likely be required to take a Graduation Qualifying Exam in order to graduate with a Plainfield High School diploma. SCHEDULING PROCESS December 7 th High school counselors present to 8 th grade students and their parents 8 th Grade Parent Night @ 6:00PM (PHS auditorium) December 7th-22 nd Mrs. Mattern meets individually with 8 th grade students to finalize course selections December 20 th &21 st High school counselors available for questions during 8 th grade lunches December 22 nd Course selection forms are due to the middle school guidance office January 18 th High school counselors facilitate 8 th grade students entering course selections into PowerSchool during assigned computer lab sessions April 28 th All 9 th grade course requests are considered final and no changes can be made

Indiana Online Academy (IOA) 2017 Summer Session: June 5 th July 20 th Summer School is FREE! Many students utilize IOA to earn credit in PE I, PE II, & Health. Students can take up to 2 courses Registration will begin in January (www.indianaonlineacademy.org) Students can also repeat courses via IOA in an effort to earn a higher grade! Students must complete an Online Coursework Approval Form (available in January) AND register on IOA s website
