We have collected a lot of different belongings, which if unclaimed will be donated to a local charity. All Saint Liturgy and Saint Museum Please mark your calendars for Thursday, November 1, 2018. The fifth grade students will lead us in liturgy during the All Saints Day. The fifth grade students have researched a saint of their choice and will share with us what they learned about each one in the Saint Museum they will take part in after the Liturgy. Please join us in the church basement to experience the Saint Museum that the students worked hard to prepare for. We will be done by 11:15 am.

Christmas Band Concert - 5th Through 8th Grade The Christmas Band Concert will take place in our Gym on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 1:30 pm and 6:30 pm. Students who are in the performance should arrive about 30 minutes before the 6:30 pm performance to get organized and to tune their instruments. Students in the band concert are expected to wear black dress pants, black school shoes, black socks that cover their feet and ankles and a long sleeve white button down shirt/blouse. Ellen Goff will be sending a note home with reminders about the concert dress code, for those in the band.
Serrv International Once again we are welcoming SERRV International to Nouvel Catholic Central Elementary School. SERRV is a non profit alternative trade and development organization that has been working to spread hope and justice for over 60 years. The mission of SERRV is to promote the social and economic progress of the people in developing regions of the world by marketing their products in a just and direct manner. The funds raised from the sale of these handcrafted items provide income, dignity and hope to people in developing regions around the world. These items are tax deductible and are very unique. Children and families will have the opportunity to shop and have purchased items gift wrapped for Christmas on November 28th (preview) and November 29th (shop). Please mark your calendar for this wonderful opportunity. Uniform Clarification Beginning November 1st, shorts may no longer be worn to school until April 1st. This includes wearing shorts on Spirit or Color Days. Following our Uniform Survey these changes are in effect: Spirit Day every Friday, students may wear a spirit shirt with jeans, khakis or navy pants. Students may wear athletic pants and girls may wear leggings with a skirt or a dress on Color Days only. The Honor Roll includes not only academic abilities but the student behavior expectations as well. The following are the qualifications for the Honor Rolls.
Bishop Honor Roll All A Report Card No more than 3 checks during the quarter 1 in effort Principal Honor Roll All A and B Report Card No more than 7 checks during the quarter All 1 or 2 in effort Faculty Honor Roll All A and B and one C Report Card No more than 10 checks during the quarter All 1 or 2 in effort Students that have been suspended may not be on an Honor Roll. Bad Weather In the event that we need to close the school due to bad weather conditions, please listen to radio station WSGW 790 AM or tune into Channel 5, 12 and 25 for the latest updates. If Saginaw Township Schools close, then Nouvel closes as well. The closing announcement will be under Nouvel Catholic Central Schools Schools. Fundraisers SCRIP Scrip is a great way to get a lot of your Christmas Shopping done! We have many gift cards on hand and many are available to be downloaded right to your phone. Now that Christmas is just around the corner, please take advantage of using this program and help NCCE at the same time. We receive a percentage of every gift card amount sold and you receive 100% of the value of the giftcard. Please be sure to utilize the Scrip Program for your shopping needs.
