Buddy Bench Success! Last week, the SRC officially launched the Buddy Bench program at SHPS. The program aims to help students foster social skills on the playground and build positive friendships, problem solving skills and experiences for students K-6. Years 4-6 class captains, SRC representatives, prefects and school captains each have a weekly duty where they patrol the Buddy Benches on Area A and C, helping students with the above skills. Implementing the program has not only helped support students, but has also created a sense of school pride and spirit amongst students across K-6 in new play areas and the whole playground. Thanks.
