Annual Report VIII th Annual Day 22 Oct 2011 It is my privilege and a pleasant duty to extend a very cordial and warm welcome to Lt General Anand Mohan Verma, AVSM, SM, VSM, Director, Military Operation, Army Headquarters, New Delhi, distinguish guests on the auspicious occasion of VIII th Annual Day celebration of this prestigious institution of the state of Bihar and country as well. Establishment of Sainik Schools conceptualized with the primary aim of preparing boys academically, physically and mentally for entry into National Defence Academy. Besides being a feeder institution to NDA, the twenty-four Sainik Schools located all over India have brought Public School Education within the reach of common man especially the wards of socially and economically weaker sections of our society.
