Back by popular demand, the Elmhurst Heritage Foundation, a non-profit organization, to host the 4th Annual Elmhurst Craft Beer Fest. The Event - Elmhurst Craft Beer Fest The Elmhurst Craft Beer Fest will take place on Saturday, September 15, 2018. The Fest plans to feature more than 50 special beers from more than 30 craft brewers from the Chicagoland area, as well as around the country. In order to meet Illinois liquor law compliance standards, the fest will be a ticketed event. Festival participants will receive a specified number of drink tickets. Each drink ticket can be exchanged for a 3 oz. sample. The Elmhurst History Museum During the Elmhurst Craft Beer Fest, guests will have the opportunity to check out the Elmhurst History Museum s current exhibit, Chicago Rink Rats: The Golden Age of Roller Skating. The exhibit explores the great skating palaces of the 1940s, 50s and beyond, including The Elm, our community s local rink from 1956-1989. Visitors will also be able to explore By All Accounts: The Story of Elmhurst, a national award-winning exhibit on the second floor gallery. Admission to the exhibits is free. The Elmhurst History Museum is a valued cultural institution for residents of Elmhurst, and it attracts museum-goers from the greater Chicagoland area. The Museum preserves the story of Elmhurst and enhances quality of life by providing unique cultural and educational opportunities through high-quality exhibits, programs, and other services.
