She was ably assisted last term by Miss Miller. Published Writing As I mentioned last week, we had three students with work published in the annual Write4fun compilation of stories. It is my pleasure to announce a fourth student who also had their work published in this book. Jessica L (4RB) was also accepted with her story titled, The Water Spirit. We also congratulate Jessica on this achievement. Parent Requests If any parent would like to submit relevant information to assist with the placement of their child/children for next year, then this must be submitted in writing and addressed to me. Any correspondence must be received by Friday, November 3. Information regarding your child s/children s academic, social, behavioural or physical needs should be included in any correspondence. It is not appropriate to request specific teachers, but this will be taken into consideration based on individual needs. CANTEEN Bandanas Our Social Service leaders, Georgia F and Isabella G are currently selling bandanas at school each day to support the CANTEEN Foundation. The school supports this annual fundraising event and the students do a wonderful job assisting to raise additional funds for the foundation. Bandanas are on sale for $5 and can be purchased at recess and lunch time in the canteen courtyard. Thank you to those who have already made a purchase. The runners-up included; Adrian S, Lucy D, Mia B, Celeste P and Elena K. If you would like to view these designs they are on display on the wall inside the front door near the main office.
