January 23, 2018 A Message from the Principal: New Leadership for St. Anthony s School Dear Parents, It was a year ago this month that Superintendent of Catholic Schools Mona Faulkner contacted me and asked if I would come out of retirement and return to St. Anthony s School as its principal to complete the 2016 2017 school year, and I was happy to accept. In March she asked if I would be willing to stay one more year as the principal as they continued the search for a principal for the school, and again I was happy to say yes. It has been a joy and an honor to work once again with the staff, parents, and students of the school in this mission and vocation of Catholic education, and I look forward to continuing to do so through the end of the 2017 2018 school year. Good news for the school community is contained in the letter from Superintendent Faulkner that you will find as an attachment to today s packet. A new principal has been hired for the school! I look forward to working with her in making the transition in leadership a smooth one. God continues to bless the SAS community! God bless you and your family. Live, Jesus, in our hearts forever. Susannah Nelson, Principal Kindergarten Sibling Registration The registration form for siblings who will be attending kindergarten at SAS in August of 2018 was attached to the January 9 Tuesday Packet. Forms will be processed in the order in which they are submitted. Please be sure to indicate whether you prefer the full day or half day option. Testing will take place in March; calls to set up the testing date will start in late February. These documents will be needed on the scheduled testing day: the child's birth certificate, baptismal certificate, and immunization card. You can either bring the originals and we will make copies, or you can bring a copy. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Reynolds at 435 0700 ext 0244.
