GENERAL ENGLISH Intake Every Monday The General English course is designed to improve students reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. Pronunciation and grammar are also learnt and the course is carefully balanced to cover interesting and interactive topics. BARISTA MASTER COURSE Intake first Monday of every month Universal English is the only college with a specifically designed Barista Master Course that has an internship option, Barista Essentials Course and Latte Art Course. You will learn all the necessary skills and truly shine. UIT is the place to learn and love coffee! - Learn the A Z of everything a Barista must know - Attend 1 hour daily classes with our Barista expert teacher - Gain 10-12 hours work experience at Universal Café every week - Visit a local coffee roaster and see what really happens - Discover the history of coffee, coffee types and bean types - Master latte art and learn iced coffee drinks - Write your resume and practice for a job interview - Understand different types of grinders and espresso machines - Learn how to clean and maintain espresso machines Optional Cafe Internship 3 weeks of barista working experience at local cafés. *For UIT students, who have completed the 4 week Barista Master Course. The theory provided equipped me with the background knowledge to achieve excellent coffee drinks and during my practice I was able to make many different types of coffee behind the espresso machine.
