The time off was very deserved and I hope you have been able to recharge. The 2018 marching season is going to be The Greatest Show. In this letter, you will find a schedule for summer band and many of the events for the 2018-19 school year. Please organize your calendars to help avoid any conflicts. Band practices are required and we will work out conflicts with athletic practices as they occur. PLEASE GIVE YOUR EMPLOYERS THIS INFORMATION IN ADVANCE! Our show this year is based off the music from The Greatest Showman. We will work on show music and stand music for this year during the afternoon rehearsal and on the drill during the morning hours. Please mark the dates for band registration on the July calendar. At this time, we will update information, fit you for your uniform and shoes, pay band fees, issue music and check out equipment. Band Fees this year will be $30. This fee covers your band shirt(s), gloves, and flip folder. A rental fee for school owned instruments will be $25 for the year. Marching shoes are $25 if you need to purchase a pair. Once school starts we'll have Monday night rehearsals from 6:00 pm-8:30 pm. We will start at 7:30 am every day. Please let us know if transportation is an issue. We will try to solve these problems before the school year starts. We are happy that you are part of this outstanding program. This program is one of the best 4A bands in the state and we will continue to strive for excellence. We appreciate what you have and will continue to do for our school and community.
