P a g e 3 N e w s l e t t e r T e r m 4, I s s u e 3 9 News from the Library... The last Library Class of the Week is Year 2G Well done, you did it! Over the holidays please check for any St Columba s library or reading books you may still have at home :) If your child cannot find their library or reading book, there is still a good chance it will turn up. Below is a list of common places that students have found their library books in the past. The number one hiding spot for lost books is in desks! - Under the bed? - Under the seat in your car? - On your bookshelves in your home? - At a friend s house? - Behind the sofa? Under the sofa cushions? - On the bedside table? - In your brother s or sister s bedroom or school bag? - In the desk? (Yes, look there again!!) - At your other house? - In your desk? (Yes, look there again!!) - In the library? Ask Mrs. Cuthbert to help you check the bookshelf to see if it is hiding there Before you buy a replacement book, check these places! Good Luck! The library Lunchtimers have had lots of fun during our last week. They ve been singing Christmas carols, whilst colouring in Aussie Christmas bookmarks, playing the cup song and we even saw a couple of budding rising stars giving a singing performance J
