WEEKLY NOTE - Monday 9th May 2016 Strabane Rotary Club Choir Competition Many many congratulations to our Junior Choir who took part in the Rotary Club Choir Competition and performed brilliantly.. so much so that the judge remarked how difficult his task of adjudication was!! Many many congratulations also to our Senior Choir who also performed brilliantly at the competition and won Senior Choir Section and the Overall Best Choir of the night! We are so proud of our pupils who took part, parents who supported them and also our fabulous staff who prepared them so well Mrs S. Vaughan, Mrs C. Deery and Mr P. Harley. Special thanks also to other staff who came along to supervise and calm nerves backstage!!!! A wonderful night for St. Catherine s! DVD s of the performances of all the choirs are available to purchase for 5. Just ask at either school office for more details. If our supply runs out we can always order more! Headlice Please keep checking your child s head for headlice visitors as they just love clean heads!! The warm weather can sometimes also see a rise in visits from these little bugs as they love heat and wee sweaty heads!! Any child with medium/ long length hair should ALWAYS keep their hair tied back so that they are minimising the chances of getting visits from these little bugs. Believe it or not, they can travel from head to head very easily indeed! God Bless, Sincerely yours, Bridget Wilders, Principal
