Please ensure your child is collected by this time. If unable to do so please make alternative arrangements. I tell you that you forgive not seven times but seventy times seven. The opening verses of this gospel reading have Jesus advocating endless forgiveness (not seven but seventy-seven times) It is important that as teachers and parents we model and teach children about forgiveness. Just as we are forgiven by the Father, so too should we forgive others. Forgiveness allows us to restore broken relationships and let go of resentment. Forgiveness frees us to love and live joyfully.

60th Anniversary Celebration Activities Volunteers and Family Involvement Volunteers All parents are asked to volunteer for something relating to our 60th Anniversary Celebrations. Please put your name down for a stall on the attached form. Traditional Costume Everyone attending is asked to wear traditional dress from the country your originate. You are invited to enter into the fashion parade individually or as a family Traditional Dance If family groups would like to perform a traditional dance at the Celebration please see Mrs Stack. Raffle/Mystery Jars/Straw Raffle We would like to ask all families if they are able to contribute to the Raffle, Mystery Jars & Straw Raffles with the following year levels donating the items listed. Children are welcome to attend and encouraged to bring their own Rosary beads if they have them. Otherwise, Rosary beads will be provided. Altar boy training Please note that altar boy training will recommence in week 2 of this term, Thursday 27 th July. The boys are trained by Frederick Maroun and supervised by Ron Maroun at St Gerard s Church each Thursday from 5.30-6.30pm. If any other boys are interested in training please let me know. Gold Coin Donation Dixie from 3/4 SL has been selected to represent Victoria in the Under 13 Girls Softball team to play in Adelaide in September. What an outstanding achievement when Dixie is only 9 years old. We d love the school community to support Dixie by asking for a Gold Coin Donation when you come dressed in your footy colours on Footy Fun Day, - Friday, 22 September. GO DIXIE!!
