ATHLETICS A massive congratulations to all the athletes that competed at IGSSA Athletics on Tuesday! It was a busy, but perfect day, with many girls achieving a personal best. Well done!

The athletes amongst us. Congratulations to Ms Payne who represented UWA Boat Club in the State Rowing Championships at Champion Lakes on the weekend of 10th/11th. Conditions for rowing were beautiful on Saturday, but on Sunday the wind increased making the rowing far more challenging. Ms Payne competed in a number of categories over the weekend, Coxed 8, Coxed Quad, Coxless 4 and Double Scull. Her team placed FIRST in their grade in the Coxless 4 (6:04.76), FIRST by over 9 seconds in their grade in the Coxed Quad (3:44.43), and a very close Silver in their Coxed 8 race, finishing behind West Australian Rowing Club by just 0.17 seconds!! Well Done Ms Payne. There were a number of students from Perth College also competing in the championships over the weekend. Well done to all who competed at this level.
