Converting to HE To be used in 1-2hrs Complexity not necessarily an issue Likert like me..not like me self rating Scoring relative not absolute
Research Programme Literature review (Dec 12) Employer forum consulted (Dec 12) Online self test tool developed (Jan-Mar 13) Workshop designed (Jan-Mar 13) 6 pilot workshops (Feb May 13) Evaluation (Jun-July 13) Dissemination (July-Sept 13)
The Online Tool
Profile Exemplar statements Transparency means users can overscore Identify areas in which they already perform well, and areas for self-development Measures: 1) Likert-type scale has been used for scoring each statement 2) To highlight overly generous scoring to individuals, the instrument offers some way of recording evidence in the form of examples 3) A return to the instrument after a period of self-development through workshops also highlights to individuals where they may have been too generous. It is known that individuals may tend to be more self-critical as they become more self-aware. 4) Some opposite statements have be added in to make the instrument less transparent.

Student Feedback "Whole session was interesting and enjoyable. I liked filling the questionnaire. It made me think about how I am and things that I should improve so I can become even more creative - Thank you Brilliant very encouraging. Every student needs to understand what they are leaving university with not a certificate but an understanding of what is behind the certificate a confidence and knowledge in the essential skills students have gained and an approach to communicating this efficiently with employers. This course must become compulsory It has been a good workshop and has helped make me aware of being more specific and understanding my strengths and weaknesses as a person. I feel more confident in developing how I want to present myself, understanding the skills I have. Thank you. Excellent mini-course it helped me to think differently about my creativity and how I can take it to the next level, thank you so much!
