This was conducted by Kolhapur University. Nearly 1200 volunteers attended this camp from all over Maharashtra. From our college Ms. Amita Phale attended this camp.

OF VOLUNTEERS: 08 MALE: 03 FEMALE: 05 Our NSS Volunteers had celebrated the programme of guru pornima with the teaching as well as non-teaching staff. Teachers were felicitated with small token of love.

10) VAJRESHWARI BOOK DONATION: DATE: 9 TH JULY, 2017 NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 50 MALE: 28 FEMALE: 22 We had a book donation programme at Vajreshwari in association with Parel Samajik Sanstha. Books were donated to the orphanage children. Book donation

MALE: 02 FEMALE: 02 NSS Volunteers helped the college staff for the F.Y.Bcom Orientation. Volunteers helped in crowd controlling and sitting arrangements. 13) UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION DAY: DATE: 17 TH JULY, 2017 NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 18 MALE: 10 FEMALE: 08 There was a university activity in convocation hall on account of University Foundation Day. 14) Anti-Ragging squad: DATE: 17 TH JULY, 2017 NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 35 MALE: 15 FEMALE: 20 On the first day of college the volunteers formed an ant- ragging squad to prevent F.Y.Bcom students from being ragged. 15) N.S.S ORIENTATION: DATE: 20 TH JULY, 2017 NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 40 MALE: 19 FEMALE: 21 It was conducted in order to make our newly admitted people aware about NSS. Students were briefed about various activities conducted throughout the year.

N.S.S Orientation 16) BOOT CAMP: DATE: 29 TH JULY, 2017 NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 18 MALE: 09 FEMALE: 09 Our senior volunteers arranged boot camp for our juniors. First they gave introduction to each other, and then treasure hunt was organized for juniors and after treasure hunt juniors had to do street play on the topic which was given at the end of treasure hunt. After treasure hunt we had refreshments. Core team was introduced to juniors at the end of boot camp.

(AUGUST) 17) WASTE MANAGEMENT SESSION: DATE: 2 ND AUGUST, 2017 NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 03 MALE: 03 FEMALE: 00 Waste management session was organized by Ruia College. This was attended by our volunteers. Session was about how to manage different kinds of waste i.e. wet& dry waste. Seminar was conducted by an NGO. They told us about how to segregate wet and dry waste? How to decompose wet waste? And what to do with dry waste? They told us to do job that 2 societies should be covered per volunteer and awareness should be spread throughout the Mumbai about waste management. 18) STEM CELL ACTIVITY: DATE: 4 TH AUGUST, 2017 NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 43 MALE: 15 FEMALE: 28 Stem cell donation camp was organized by our NSS unit with the help of Tata memorial hospital. Our volunteers tried to bring as much as donors possible for registration. Our volunteers tried to explain the importance of stem cell donation that it can save someone s life, a child suffering from cancer can be saved with this donation. At the end of the day total 250 donors registered themselves for stem cell donation.

Stem Cell Registration 19) CLEAN UP-DRIVE AT BARHANPUR: DATE: 5 TH AUGUST, 2017 VENUE: BHARANPUR NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 40 MALE: 23 FEMALE: 17 Cleanliness is at next to godliness, as the old maxim goes a clean- up drive was conducted at Barhanpur to make the awareness of cleanliness.

20) TREE PLANTATION AT BARHANPUR: DATE: 18 TH AUGUST, 2017 VENUE: BHARANPUR NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 30 MALE: 14 FEMALE: 16 We planted 100 trees in our adopted village Barhanpur, our adopted area.

Tree Plantation: Barhanpur 21) BLOOD DONATION SKIT: DATE: 10 TH AUGUST, 2017 NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 11 MALE: 05 FEMALE: 06 Our volunteers did a street play on blood donation as our NSS unit arranged blood donation camp in our college. Our volunteers tried to explain the importance of blood donation through this skit. They tried to convey our

message to audience that blood donation is the best donation; you can save someone s life. We performed street play in front of our college gate and near Matunga station. Blood Donation skit performed by N.S.S volunteers at Matunga Station area. 22) BLOOD DONATION ACTIVITY: DATE: 10 TH AUGUST, 2017 NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 39 MALE: 17 FEMALE: 22 We arranged BLOOD DONATION CAMP in our college with the help of Sion Hospital. Before Blood Donation Camp our volunteers performed a street play on blood donation, in front of our college gate and near Matunga station. After street play, we started the blood donation camp in our college auditorium. There were our 39 volunteers on duty during blood donation camp. They tried

to bring donors by explaining the importance of blood donation. 35 blood samples were collected during this whole camp. 23) FRIENDSHIP DAY: DATE: 11 TH AUGUST, 2017 NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 22 MALE: 06 FEMALE: 16 On the occasion of friendship day our volunteers celebrated friendship day with sweepers who clean near Matunga station and nearby areas, around our college.

24) PEACE AND HARMONY RALLY: DATE: 13 TH AUGUST, 2017 NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 27 MALE: 10 FEMALE: 17 It was a university level activity at Worli. Seminar was arranged and it was addressed by ram dev baba. They gave a speech on nonviolence.

25) INDEPENDENCE DAY: DATE: 15 TH AUGUST, 2017 NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 55 MALE: 30 FEMALE: 25 On the occasion of Independence Day our volunteers enacted an act or play to show today s generation how the condition of our India in pre Independence was and post-independence period. To show how our freedom fighters gave their life to save our country. And what are we doing now? Is this the India our freedom fighters gave their life for? These are the questions on which our play focused on. Independence Day 2017

26) LTC CAMP: DATE: 16 TH AUGUST, 2017 TO 20 TH AUGUST, 2017 NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 02 MALE: 01 FEMALE: 01 LTC is a university level camp, arranged by K.C College Churchgate. In this camp Mr. Siddhant more and Ms. Siddhi Kadam represented our college. In this camp total 62 volunteers participated from 30 different colleges. Volunteers were given special training about NSS and different activities. It was a 5 day camp which consisted of different activities.

27) WASTE MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY: DATE: 24 TH AUGUST, 2017 VENUE: GURUNANAK COLLEGE. NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 05 MALE: 01 FEMALE: 04 Waste management activity was arranged by Gurunanak College, which was attended by our volunteers. In this seminar how to segregate wet and dry waste? What to do with wet waste? And how to decompose it? And other question regarding waste management were discussed. 28) Book Donation (Barhanpur): Date: 24 th August, 2017 No. of volunteers: 51 Male: 25 Female: 26 Book donation was carried out by our volunteers in Barhanpur rural schools. The children were extremely happy to receive those books.

29) Food Distribution (Barhanpur): Date: 25 th August, 2017

No. of volunteers: 55 Male: 33 Female: 22 Volunteers distributed biscuits at our adopted village. Food Distribution.

30) Crowd Controlling: DATE: 29 th August, 2017-5 TH SEPTEMBER, 2017 NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 26 MALE: 15 FEMALE: 11 During Ganesh Chaturthi our volunteers did crowd controlling at Dadar chowpaty. Our volunteers helped police officers who were working in that area by helping them to control crowd and helping other people.

(SEPTEMBER) 31) RALLY FOR RIVERS: DATE: 1 ST SEPTEMBER, 2017 NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 48 MALE: 28 FEMALE: 20 Our volunteers carried out rally for rivers rally, after the session of rally for rivers which was conducted in our college. Rally for rivers is a mission to save all the important rivers of India. We tried to spread out awareness about rally for rivers through this rally. We distributed leaflets of rally for rivers; we tried to convey our message by a peaceful means. We explained them that rivers are our mothers so this is our duty to save them. Rally For Rivers

32) Clean-Up Drive L.S.S: DATE: 2 TH SEPTEMBER, 2017. NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 35 MALE: 18 FEMALE: 17 A clean-up drive was conducted by the volunteers at our adopted area in Sion. 33) RRC Workshop: Date: 4 th September, 2017. No. of volunteers: 03 Male: 01 Female: 02 Three volunteers which included the RRC heads of the college attended the workshop in which they were informed about HIV and AIDS. Moreover, which and how the activities should be conducted was even briefed.

RRC workshop 34) Teachers Day: DATE: 5 TH SEPTEMBER, 2017. NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 25 MALE: 11 FEMALE: 14 Teacher s day was celebrated by the volunteers in the college by making and distributing THANK YOU cards to the teachers and the staff.

35) YOUTH FESTIVAL PRIZE DISTRIBUTION: DATE: 7 TH SEPTEMBER, 2017 NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 05 MALE: 00 FEMALE: 05 5 female volunteers from our NSS UNIT went for this activity. On the occasion of prize distribution of youth festival, our female volunteers welcomed chief guests for this event. 36) ONE MIND TRAINING: DATE: 8 TH SEPTEMBER, 2017 NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 02 MALE: 01 FEMALE: 01 The Activity started at morning 9 am with a warm welcome to all of us, then introduction of Principal of Gurunanak college next Chief Guest MRS THOMAS ANDERSON who is the regional director of I.Y.F then MRS DUKE JAN YEN who is the Ambassador of Korean Republic. Mr JAN YEN Gave a speech that how best training they have given to their Korean Students to help the people all over the world, to bring equality, faith, Love towards each other. I.Y.F is carrying its activities since 2003 and now There are 5704 members in all over the world.

Volunteers at MIND TRAINING CAMP. 37) LSS ACTIVITY: DATE: 8 TH SEPTEMBER, 2017 NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 26 MALE: 11 FEMALE: 15 We went to LSS i.e. Lok seva sanga. It is a school were our volunteers go every Saturday to teach and play with the students of this school. We enjoy a lot over there while playing and teaching them. We donated pencils on the 1 st day of LSS. 38) GENDER SENSITIZATION: DATE: 16 TH SEPTEMBER, 2017

Main focus of this activity was to increase awareness about gender equality and equity. 39) LSS ACTIVITY: DATE: 16 TH SEPTEMBER, 2017 NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 36 MALE: 20 FEMALE: 16 We went to LSS i.e. Lok seva sanga. It is a school were our volunteers go every Saturday to teach and play with the students of this school. We enjoy a lot over there while playing and teaching them. We donated book to them on 1 st day of LSS. 40) PULSE POLIO DRIVE: DATE: 17 TH SEPTEMBER TO 22 ND SEPTEMBER, 2017

NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 12 MALE: 06 FEMALE: 06 Our college volunteers did a pulse polio drive in Dadar, Matunga and Sion. Our volunteers on 1 st day we re given polio booths to complete the task. From 2 nd day onwards our volunteers did door to door pulse polio drive. 41) LSS ACTIVITY: Date: 23 rd September, 2017 No. Of volunteers: 28 Male: 15 Female: 13 We went to LSS i.e. Lok seva sanga. It is a school were our volunteers go every Saturday to teach and play with the students of this school. We enjoy a lot over there while playing and teaching them. 42) NSS DAY CELEBRATION: Date: 23 rd September, 2017 No. Of volunteers: 58 Male: 28 Female: 30 On the occasion of NSS day we decorated our NSS room with balloon and ribbons. We took NSS prayer. Then our principal gave a small speech to inspire and motivate us.

Which was attended by our volunteers. On the occasion of NSS day. Which was held at convocation hall Churchgate. Our C.M. Mr. Devendra Fadanvis and education minister Vinod Tawade was present during prize distribution.

44) COLLEGE CLEANLINESS DRIVE: Date: 27 th September, 2017 No. Of volunteers: 34 Male: 15 Female: 19 Cleanliness drive was done by our volunteers in our college.

College Cleanliness Drive 45) CLEANLINESS DRIVE AT MAHIM BEACH: DATE: 29 TH SEPTEMBER, 2017 NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 45 MALE: 20 FEMALE: 25 Our volunteers did cleanliness drive at Mahim beach on 29th September.

Reason for rally was to make people Vyasn mukta. 48) EYE CHECK UP CAMP: DATE: 4 TH OCTOBER, 2017 TO 6 TH OCTOBER, 2017 NO. OF VOLUNTEERS: 52 MALE: 21 FEMALE: 31 Free eye check-up camp was arranged in our college from 4 th October to 6 th October, for all the students teaching and non-teaching staff.

No. of volunteers: 26 Male: 12 Female: 14 Wet waste was collected from the Matunga station market area for the compost pit work by the volunteers. Followed by a session by Ma am about the working of compost pit and how it should be done.

50) Diwali celebration (Barhanpur): Date: 8 th October, 2017 ton14 th October, 2017. No. of volunteers: 40 Male: 15 Female: 25 Volunteers celebrated Diwali with the people in Barhanpur by distributing diyas painted by the volunteers.

Basically, the idea was to carry the tattoo during the rally.

Balloon Display: No. of volunteers: 35 Male: 15 Female: 20 In this event a red balloon was given to each volunteer and made them stand in a shape of red balloon to each volunteer and made them stand in a shape of RED RIBBON and also formed the RRC with human chain so as to aware other people about HIV/AIDS. 60) Blood Donation Camp: Date: 8 th December, 2017. No. of volunteers: 43 Male: 16 Female: 27 HDFC Bank organized a blood donation camp for one day i.e. on 8 th December in the college campus. Many people, outsiders as well as the college students turned up around for donation of blood.

66) ICTC Visit: Date: 16 th January, 2018. No. of volunteers: 25 Male: 10 Female: 15 It was an activity based on the RED RIBBION CLUB. The volunteers paid visit to the Sion Hospital to get information on HIV/AIDS its causes and prevention methods.
