The company has special competence and comparative advantage in providing services relating to power and renewable energy sector. The company has technical experts in a position to develop a special geo-reference analysis of least cost national grid rollout investment plan and off-grid complement for scale up coverage targets. The company has also professionals at its disposal capable of reviewing least cost bulk power generation and network expansion program including regional interconnection and generation to determine the adequacy of bulk supply plan. In Dr. M. Fouzul Kabir Khan, the CEO of the company, who was the former Power Secretary of Bangladesh, the company has a professional of top caliber with formidable experience in handling power sector related issues, deep insight into problems and challenges faced by developing countries in the power sector, capability to handle technical, financial, and administrative imperatives of power sector planning and management. In his capacity of the CEO of Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL), he raised about US $225 million for IDCOL and leveraged more than a billion dollar investment in infrastructure, which gave him a unique insight into dynamism of donor recipient interaction for effective project formulation, and implementation in developing countries. Keystone has also the unique ability to access highly reputed professionals in specific areas from its associates around the world. For example, Keystone associate Mr. Robert J. Parra is a well known financial expert. During recent years, he has written prospectus (a) for debt syndication in Nepal for GTZ (2007), (b) equity syndication for a private mini-hydropower fund in Nepal (Clean Energy Development Bank) (2008); and private equity syndication for an offering by TerraBuilt Corporation International of the United States (2010).
