THE ESTABLISHMENT A combination of high demand for early child development facilities and short supplies of such facilities in Wakiso District 2002, low levels of literacy, community moral support and rapidly changing technology - driven world; propelled Mother Majeri Company Limited, to commit hard earned financial resources and scarce quality time towards establishment of the Now famous Mother Majeri Day and Boarding Primary School, located about seven (7) minutes drive from the Nelson Mandela National stadium, Namboole in Wakiso District, Uganda Africa.

3 The school occupies its own land estimated at 15 acres (120 plots), a situation that has empowered the growth and development of modern school facilities not limited to spacious dormitories, classroom blocks and ICT block. Mother Majeri Day and Boarding Primary School has about 2150 (two thousand one hundred and fifty) learners on record, of which one thousand commute from home; a positive challenge which encouraged the management to procure six (6) executive buses tasked with the promotion of child safety on board, reliable pick and drop arrangement and affordable nonefor-profit fares. Parents register their children at the beginning of the year in order to secure space. He serves with two company Directors, a ring of 96 highly competent and qualified teachers and 90 support staff. DISCRIPTION Mr. Basembeza Edward Peter is a professionally soft spoken person blessed with visible signals of true love for humanity, humility, patience, tolerance, kindness, honesty, loyalty, faithfulness, hope and forgiveness. He shakes wave of respect at every step of his supervisory walk around the school premises. His dress code is strictly formal save for the informal days not limited to bank holidays. He is married with five children (four boys and one girl). EARLY CHILDHOOD Mr. Basembeza Edward Peter was born on the 30 th day of June 1968 to the family of Mr. John Kayongo (RIP) and Mrs. Topista Baseke Kayongo, resident of Namutumba district Uganda. He is a Ugandan by Nationality.

EMPLOYMENT TREND He joined City Parents primary School in Kampala Uganda where he was the May head of department sciences and the master of ceremony (MC). He joined Agakhan Primary School in Kampala Uganda. He was the head of department Agriculture After his training as professional teacher, he joined Namugongo Girls Boarding School in Wakiso District. He was the Head of Department Maths and Choir Master at the church, Namugongo Basillica.

6 HOW HE JOINED MOTHER MAJERI The vacancy was advertised in one of the local dailies attracting 145 applicants, of which 8 applicants were short listed for interviews. Mr. Basembeza Edward Peter became the right choice for Mother Majeri Day and Boarding Primary School. He joined March I found Mother Majeri a small school with population of 500 learners from Nursery to Primary, 23 teaching staff and 18 support staff. Explains, Mr. Basembeza. Since March 2007, Mr. Basembeza has focused on promotion of team work, preaching and sawing seeds of positive attitudes, motivation of learners, teachers and parents as well. 8 CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY Mother Majeri Day and Boarding Primary School is involved in uplifting the livelihood of community members through a well designed give - back - to the community strategy. The school has contributed towards the construction of the nearby churches, sponsored needy children, planted trees, improved sanitation and maintenance of road networks explains, the Headteacher Mr. Basembeza Edward Peter. Speaking to our special correspondent in Africa 13/04/2016 Mr. Basembenza says, Some wealthy uneducated people are in the sector for wrong reasons. They are focused on making abnormal profits at the cost of killing required levels of professionalism in the sector Looking tough on the matter, Mr. Basembeza explains, Some school proprietors want to be everything from classroom teacher, school cook, and director of studies.no, No, it does not work that way. He also noted that some fake private schools were exploiting licensed teachers mercilessly. He calls on policy implementers and other stakeholders to save the sector from the scourge of corruption and exploitation of young professionals. I recommend that all schools should be managed by professionals to avoid further preventable issues in the sector.

10 BRIEF REMARKS The Headmaster, Mother Majeri Day and Boarding Primary School Mr. Basembeza Edward Peter is a vibrant African professional whose leadership has positively changed lives of unspecified Africans. It would be praiseworthy meeting him in person.
