ICI is instrumental & committed to provide knowledge platform to Civil Engineers & Architects. We shall be bringing nationally reputed construction professionals to address this forum. ICI - Ahmedabad is committed to provide knowledge sharing platform to professionals on sustainable basis. ABOUT INDIAN CONCRETE INSTITUTE One of the leading professional bodies in India, catering to the professional needs of individuals and Organisations involved in Concrete It is a non-profit Organisation, dedicated to the cause of Disseminating Knowledge on Concrete, to Promote Concrete Technology and Construction and to address the Research Needs of Concrete ICI was born in 1982 & today ICI is a strong professional body having more than 11,000 enrolled members, from 30 regional centres in all Major cities, spread across the entire length and breadth of the country. Of these, more than 250 are Organisational members. Today, at ICI, more than six technical committees are striving hard to bring out technical documents, to frame guidelines, to standardize, to fix norms for various specialty concretes and construction practices, to create unified code and to bring out Hand Books etc. ICI embraces budding civil engineers thro ICI students Chapters. There are more than 100 students chapters, started all over the country and this number is on the increase. The very objective of these students chapters is to bridge the gap between their theoretical knowledge and what is being practiced in the field. ABOUT ICI AHMEDABAD CENTRE ICI was set up 1987 & is engaged in providing good concrete practices through Seminars, Lectures & Workshops. In 2015, centre has conducted several activities like expert lecture & quiz programs. In continuation of our endeavor, we shall initiate monthly Expert Lectures, Technical Workshops, Seminars & Students Activities for ICI Members to make Centre sustainable & buzzing with enthusiasm & active participation.
